  1. Gotta represent for the lefty’s out there! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  2. Lefty and Broke 70 please. I saw where you only wanted to do 2, but if we're allowed 3, I'd also like the Hole in One. Cool idea to show some "flair", but just the minimum amount.
  3. Great news. Love my nx7 with slope. Never had a complaint and always gives me confidence with the yardage. Continued success to your company! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  4. I’ve been on the train as well since the new year. Worked out all but two days so far since 1/1. Lost 6 lbs and hoping to get to a total goal of 30. Trying my best to snack healthy and avoid soda. Not a big drinker of beer/alcohol but the liquid calories of soda kill me. My wife works full time as well and we have three kids under 5 so time is short. I play basketball about twice a week and the others I am trying to continue to my gym at work during my lunch hour. It’s all about staying with it and just doing something. Crazy how often I try to talk myself out of going or doing something. Gotta stay with it. Good luck to all Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  5. Lifetime colts fan here. Thought we really were a shell of ourselves from the other games I’ve watched this year, especially on defense. Looking forward to next year as the team overachieved what I thought we’d be capable of. Hell around Indianapolis, it was as late as August 1 and we still weren’t sure how much luck was back. Hoping for a good draft and offseason moves as I believe the colts have the second most cap room of any team. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  6. Hard to explain it - i'll practice all sorts of drills for distance control and feel that I have them down pat, then out on the course I'll just lose it. I agree that contact and face angle do help and I had some adjustments done to my putter at club champion that I believe will help get the ball rolling more quickly. Just psych myself out I guess.
  7. Going back and forth on this. I'm an average putter and recently had a Club Champion fitting including getting on the SAM lab. It was determined that my putting stroke was actually fairly good. On the course, my main issue tends to be a misread or speed. Most of the time, I'm getting the ball on my line that I've chosen. I've read some replies that this can help some with distance control, but what I find happens is that I will just lose my feel for distance after about 7-8 holes and then my confidence sort of goes with it. I've read some others are putting stiff iron shafts to help with stability. Can anyone comment or even compare? That would be a much cheaper way to go.
  8. Got to play up here in Indiana on Sunday while it was around 45*. Recently sold my driver and haven't gotten my new TS3 yet, so hit my 2 hybrid (my longest club) off the tee. Luckily only the whites were playable, so it was around 6100 yards. Working on a couple small changes to my swing and they are really paying off as I shot a 74 with some wind and greens that were very bumpy due to conditions. Very pleased and excited to get out for more throughout the year!
  9. Thanks guys. Definitely agree with some of your sentiments. I should have phrased it better. I do know some ways to get better with it, but when I try to really adjust and get that better attack angle with driver, my accuracy seems to suffer a bit. Although, this could be a great time to really work on it since there are still a few months until the season really starts. I've always been hesitant to make too many changes during the season because my enjoyment tends to fade since I'm not playing as well through that change. Pair that with the fact that I can't get out to play/practice as much as I used to since I have 3 children that are 4 years old and younger. Trying to get my 4 year old daughter into it as we speak. Don't judge my bad garage set up. lol
  10. Definitely agree. I think the TS3 is the lower spinning of the two if I had to pick. You can see my angle of attack is negative. I still haven't quite figured out how to hit up on the ball as well as I should with a driver. Hopefully the TS2 continues to work well for you.
  11. Thanks! 329 is deep! Especially in the cooler conditions. Hopefully that continues as the year plays on.
  12. Thanks alot, for me it was all about the weights in the TS3. I tend to come over the top a bit with a slight shut face, so by pairing a heavier shaft with the weight in the toe for a fade bias assisted the club face staying open and me coming a bit more on path. My spin was actually pretty close with both. Below are all my shots with both. The shots tended to be pulls with the TS2 although I did get the highest ball speed from TS2.
  13. I too have fallen under the TS bug, I went to Club Champion about a month ago and fell in love once fitted properly. My overall game is decent, but driving always gets me in trouble and I tend to have around 2 penalty shots per round due to bad driving. With the TS3 and the right shaft, my dispersion both horizontal and vertical were fantastic. Excited for the winter to retreat and bring more 45* and warmer days.
  14. Having some difficulty waiting for the demo days and new equipment to come out. I went to Club Champion about a month ago and hit the TS3 driver great! Hard to imagine anything beating it out. Also looking at the r motion club analyzer for the winter, but I don't that I can justify buying the driver and the club analyzer.
  15. Recently purchased an ER7 and still getting to know one another. I have found that the face is very soft and takes a much larger swing than my current gamer, scotty cameron pro platinum. Which, to be honest, could be a good thing, because my number one indicator on three putts is misjudging distance and hitting it much too far. Also, it seemed to me that a strike a bit off center seemed to go further for me. Likely I'm not making the same stroke when center is hit, but the feel is extremely soft on center hits. Trying to give it more time, but just haven't been able to get out to practice the past few weeks.
  16. Played in a recent scramble and my driving was off but had about 9 approach shots from 100-140 and put them all to about 15 ft. Hopefully that continues with my own ball when I play next. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. Just ordered an evnroll er7. Have been wanting to try a mallet for a while and pair that with how good it felt. I couldn't resist when I found it new for about $250 Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  18. You might be right about it being a bit heavy. I've added a counterbalance grip which only made it heavier. I mark my ball on intended line so starting on my intended alignment isn't a huge issue. If anything I line up a bit to the left but distance control is definitely my main issue. I think I'm getting wrapped up in everything I'm hearing about it. My current putter is fitted to loft and lie but nothing much else. Maybe I try getting something more in depth and see what happens. Appreciate the advice Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  19. I tend to hit a good amount of greens per round but find that my distance to pin is definitely pretty far. Maybe 40-45 ft if I'm guessing. I probably have 2 or 3 three putts per round. It's usually just misjudging the distance and hitting it 8 - 10 ft passed the hole. Really I just need to do more distance control drills. Thanks for helping me get a clear mind on the real issue. Which as usual is me. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  20. I thought I read on here that they didn't have Lefty options?
  21. I've been interested in trying a mallet for the past few seasons and this one is one of the first that really looked good to my eye after hitting at GG. Even though I don't struggle majorly with alignment, it couldn't hurt. The major thing I'm interested in is the distance control and gear effect that the putter has been said assist with. Putting has always been my major problem. My handicap seems to be inching its way up due to less play, and having 33-34 putts per round certainly isn't helping me.
  22. Have the Evnroll ER7 added to cart, unsure i can justify. I have found it a bit cheaper for new at $320, but that's still a lot of coin. Thoughts?
  23. What type of hybrid did you end up going with? Edit: Nevermind - I read your clubs in signature.
  24. Thinking about more clubs than I should. Close to pulling the trigger on three specific ones. The Evnroll ER7, Ping G400 LST, and a hybrid of some sort to replace my driving iron. At first glance you'd think I'm following the most wanted but these were some of the last clubs I thought I'd like. I hit the ping before the testing came out and I had never so much looked or been interested in ping clubs for some reason. My dispersion was so much tighter and the forgiveness seemed much more than my current M2. Next with the evnroll, since I'm a lefty I've not really gotten much chance to try them out. However since golf galaxy recently got them in stock got to hit a few. I've usually preferred a blade style but hitting a couple putts with the ER7, it just fit my eye really well and gave me more confidence when putting. Lastly looking to go back to a hybrid as the driving iron tends to be less offline but my distance seems to have too much dispersion. L Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  25. Played today and still not quite in form. Driver has been big issue and was a bit better today. Biggest issue was pitching/chipping and putting. Putting is usually not great but all other parts of short game are usually better. Just need to keep at it. Had 3 holes with 3 putts so certainly didn't help. Ended with 81 but need to tighten it all up. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
