So I was fitted for 110 c taper lites S in irons. I play Miura retro and cb 201 combo set 3-pw. Going to get an MT 001 3 iron Driving iron. Dont want to put iron shaft in it. What does anyone recomend for DI Shaft? Was fitted based on 0.98 efficiency, play slight draw. 30 yrd peak hight 5600 rpm spin. 173ish carry 7 iron.
Also was fitted for Kyoshi Purple in driver 10.5 Cobra f9. Need a shaft for my Adams 16° hybrid since my driver is a piece of s@#$. And cant hit a 3 wood. So I have decided on hybrid but having a hard tine on shaft. Want something that is higher launch low spin I think? That way I can hit into par 5s still.

    Driver : TaylorMade M2 9.5 Fujikura Pro 60S
Absolutely love this driver. It is by far the most accurate driver I have used hands down. Something will really need to impress me to overtake this from my bag.
    3 Wood: TaylorMade M2 16.5 Kuro Kage 70S
Decided to switch from a 15deg to 16.5deg for more help elevating the ball when going for greens. So far it has done exactly what I wanted plus it fills the gap well between my driver and utility.
    Utility: Srixon U65 20deg (3 Iron) Nippon Modus3 Tour 120 S
I’ve never been a hybrid guy and always used a 3 iron but after trying one of these out at PGA Superstore, I figured why not make the game easier lol. Even with this being a “long iron” it is very easy to get the ball in the air. I decided to put in the Modus3 shaft to match my irons since I wasn’t a fan of the stock graphite shaft.
    Irons: Srixon Z565 4, Srixon Z765 5-AW Nippon Modus3 Tour 120
Srixon are making some amazing irons right now. I would put these up against any of the “top” brands out there. They feel amazing and I’m a fan of the V Sole technology since I tend to get a little steep.
    Wedges: Callaway MD4 54 S Grind & 58 X Grind
The 58 X Grind is my favorite club in the bag at the moment. If you tend to get steep on your swing and like to play different shots around the green this is the Grind for you. It has definitely helped me improve my short game. The 54 is used on full shots to fill the yardage gap between the AW and 58.

    1) what is your hdcp?    9.4
    2) how often do you play?   Two 18-hole rounds and three 9-hole rounds a week... normally
    3) how often do you practice?   3-4 times a week
    4) how long is your practice and how many balls do you hit?   Typically, 1-2 hours.  Only 20-30 balls on the range.
    5) how do you practice?   Most time is spent in short-game area.  Pitch ~100 balls from various distances; 10 minutes for bunker work; chip around green from various lies for 20-30 minutes; putt for 30 minutes, maybe longer, starting with 3-4 footers with right hand only for 10 minutes, then a few 10 footers, then end with long lag putts from varying distances trying to get within 2 feet.

I just recently put my 2012 TaylorMade RBZ 3-wood back in the bag, although some days I wonder why.  There are days I hit it very well; there are days I don't (I probably put it in the garage after one of those days).
I still have one SCOR wedge from about the same period, but a replacement will be coming soon; just not sure yet what it will be.

I’m starting to lean more and more to the TP5. I was testing the TP5, Z-Star and The Mizuno RB Tour. The TP5 just checks all the boxes for me on distance, consistency and feel. The Z-Star is a close second though.

I recently got fitted at a demo day for new irons and driver, but due to time restrictions, wasn't able to hit any hybrids. I'm wondering, do most people play hybrids with a shaft that is the hybrid/wood model of their driver or do you all play a differing version of your irons? For reference, my driver has a project x even flow black 6.5 75g shaft (114-116 CHS), and my irons have a C-taper X stiff (92-94 CHS). Looking for what others have had the most success with or thoughts.

How long have you been playing golf? What’s your handicap or normal score? I’ve been playing for about 12 years. Right now I’m about a 9 handicap.
What do you love about golf? I love that feeling when everything comes together and you hit that perfect shot. It is what got me hooked in the first place.
What brings you to MyGolfSpy? Do you already know any other Spies? I’ve always been lurking on the forums so I figured I would join the community. I do not know anyone on here at the moment.
Where are you from? What is your home course? I live in Winter Springs, FL which is outside of Orlando. My home course is Eagle Dunes.
What are the best and worst things about golf in your region? The best thing is definitely being able to play year round and the worst is playing in the 100 degree heat and humidity of summer lol
What do you do for a living? I am a natural food salesman
How’d you pick your user name? Everyone loves the feeling of getting Up N Down!
