My setup is less than a week old. My biggest complaint is not being young enough to hit add many balls as I'm able these days. It takes a while to get comfortable swinging at full speed.

It helps you think more between shots, looking over the data. I went with the MLM. Don't want to have to mess with covering my refrigerator or not being able to use a fan.

Solid start. I think awesome golf will be a great addition. The software is meh at best.

Ball dots get here in the next week or two. I hope that helps with ball wear. These 3 RPT balls are taking a beating.

Best of luck on your build.

I have a big shed where I store my farm equipment as well as mat and net to hit golf balls. I always use ear plugs when I use the tractor.  The other day, I forgot to take them out when I decided to hit a few balls into the net with some forged irons.  I was shocked at how completely the feel of these clubs was due to the sound they made.  Without the sound there was little feedback from impact aside from a very dull feeling in my hands.  When I switched to a cast club, the feel was identical.  After that accidental experiment, I have come to the conclusion that for me, feel really is 95% the sound made by the club and that the difference is minimal between a forged and cast club.

    "Creating" Lag In Your Swing

... Pretty sure this is a repeat so I will keep it short and simple. You do not "create" lag. Lag is a by product of a good swing and something that occurs with proper sequencing. If you do not actively release the club head or you do not actively hold back the club head from releasing, you have a very good chance of producing lag in your swing. Think of throwing a baseball. Do you lead with your elbow? If you do you are naturally producing lag with your throwing motion. The elbow leads with the forearm trailing and the wrist bent. You do not actively release your wrirst nor do you stop your wrist from releasing. You simply throw the ball and the kinetic chain takes care of the release.

... If this is a concept you struggle with, next time you are at the range try throwing a golf ball like you are skipping a stone across a lake without caring about direction. You should experience a free wheeling motion with again, the elbow leading and the arm and wrist throwing the ball. Those that either naturally produce this motion or learn it through practice find they can almost "throw" the club as fast as they comfortable can. They do not guide or attempt to do anything other than simply throwing at almost full speed. So give the throwing motion a try with the goal of free wheeling without any care where the ball flys. Many of you will be surprised at how much faster you can swing without swinging harder.

I put mine on a lie and loft machine today and discovered that the 5 iron is 19 degrees and the 6 iron is 23 degrees.  The rest of the irons were the correct loft, but the lies were considerably off with several 3 degrees upright.  The metal in the hosel is very soft so make sure you have someone who know what they are doing and has a light touch.  I wondered why I was hitting the 5 iron like an old 2 iron!
I think a smart golfer should have their lies and lofts checked when the clubs first arrive and at least once per year regardless of the brand.

I have a MGI Zip Navigator AT that I bought at Costco.  I have about 30 rounds with it and I love it.  My only complaint is how it handles uphill grades.  It pops wheelies frequently and will occasionally tip over backwards.  I've extended the Wheelie bar and that helps some.  I play on a hilly WV golf course so there is no avoiding some hill climbs.  I've thought about adding some ballast weight to the bottom of my golf bag.  Has anyone else had this problem and how did you improve it?

I broke down and bought the blade.  I have an old Scotty Art of Putting blade without any alignment lines and I figured it looked close enough but with alignment aides to it to give it a try.  First the bad news.  The fit and finish on this is pretty disappointing.  The head looks cast and the paint and paint fill remind me of a Walmart putter.  It also has a strange grip which feels like foam and has an opposite taper with the lower portion of the grip larger than the butt.
The good news is that it puts a really good roll on the ball.  I have just practiced with it, but there is little bouncing and the ball seems to go where I am aiming it.  Deliberate heel and toe hits do seem to maintain distance and perhaps a bit a correction.  Alignment aides are useful, except for a very slight paint blemish.
Before I try it in a real round of golf, I'll need to get rid of the grip.  I have real mixed feelings about the club so far.  Part of me feels ripped off and stupid for buying an infomercial club.  On the other hand  it does align well and the roll is nice.  In the end, I'd putt with a "Hello Kitty" pink plastic putter, if it helped me make for 4 foot putts.  We'll see.
