  1. I guess business is boomin for the Costco brands!
  2. The largest goal for me is to break 90 every round, every know and then I have huge fluctuations in my scores so I want to tighten things up. If I could stay at my pace of 50-60 rounds I’d be happy. I’d like to get my first this year. Lastly I have the need for speed! I want more distance off the tee box, if I can average 250-270 it will allow me to play in the men’s club championship. Just had a round where I average about 230 with no roll in Hawaii on a soft and slow course. Here’s to 2023!!
  3. Really wish Stewart could have handled this more directly or talked with you personally to troubleshoot vs all The back and forth hoops you’ve gone through
  4. The feel of the gen 5 driver just didn’t do it for me. Felt like a very firm face, similar to a rock. Very different than my G425
  5. Last few days have been in the single digits and with the windchill hitting as low as -30. Heading to warmer weather, LA to Hawaii for the week!
  6. The strap itself may or may not help people. Research previously showed that it was helpful and now studies are showing it may not be as helpful as we once thought. this is pretty similar to what we use in my clinic. The key is not to over tighten it. Snug enough that you feel the muscle widen from the compression of the brace https://proband.com/products/proband®-bandit?variant=37586370461878&currency=USD&utm_medium=product_sync&utm_source=google&utm_content=sag_organic&utm_campaign=sag_organic&gclid=CjwKCAiAhqCdBhB0EiwAH8M_Gs2XGFoK709Y1y8u4EiMqXXkjivExN6IjWbJudnK3SlEB1ySlbH1oxoCYGAQAvD_BwE
  7. I can send you article but essentially it supports light exercise with stretching, the biggest utilization is the addition of Grayson techniques/massage and dry needling. Any other modalities hot/cold laser, e-stim( interferrential, TENS, or noxious). A cortisone injection isn’t a bad option if the pain is too much that you have difficulty participating in therapy. Another option could be PRP injections, those also can be helpful in situation where there is small testing of the muscle. https://www.jospt.org/doi/10.2519/jospt.2022.0302
  8. I had a really rough 2 weeks with practice. My speed training has been hit or miss. However I practiced yesterday, I found that my high point for the light speed trainer was down, 119 vs 117 but my driver swing went up from 101 to 105. I could really feel the difference yesterday with the swing where everything felt complete vs the initial few weeks where it felt like I was swinging out of my shoes
  9. I’ll still be watching because it’s the masters and one of my favorite events of the year. Could things get testy because of the competing tour players in the same event, sure. Will it, likely not. Unless you get a couple guys who are known to stir the pot together it likely won’t happen at such a prestigious tournament.
  10. I’m level 1 certified, I’ll Finish out the next 2 levels each year to have my medical certification
  11. I really wish I could. Unfortunately I think those types of trips are out of my wheelhouse with my wife after having our first child last year!
  12. As an orthopedic physical therapist I treat this quite frequently. The treatment plan generally follows with minimal stretching and strengthening followed by some manual or tool assisted work to the surrounding area. Utilization of modalities like hot/cold laser, thermal stim application, and dry needling or acupuncture. The tennis elbow strap research has been updated and results show it isn’t as effective as previously thought. Hopefully all this helps
  13. Loved my 425, but it just doesn’t fit where my game is at currently. Not sure I will test the 430, I think I want to get away from the heavier heads and in to something more lightweight. I know the overall swing weight makes it comparable to the market. Plus the new 430 look just doesn’t do it for me
  14. If it was all about golf they wouldn’t have showed how cool the spa actually was. Traveling as a 6’7” guy couldn’t have been easy, plus I think the big guy should enjoy the finer things in life that the C suite has regularly, compared to the strapped boys
  15. I did a demo day for the PXG gen 5 performance irons. Was fitted into the steel fiber 110 shafts and really enjoyed hitting them. Cosmetically they are good looking clubs in the dark black and the private reserve shafts would have been awesome to have but they performed as well my my hot metals so no reason to upgrade just for cosmetic purposes. I tried the driver but I’ve been so bad lately I don’t think you can fit me into anything with the swing changes I’m going through
  16. I really like how well they’ve highlighted tourism and golf in this series. They way they have discussed the state of golf in Sweden and Denmark is really interesting. The courses they are playing seem very accessible and would all provide for fantastic trips for destination golf to these areas
  17. Does anyone know if the ball affects the readings in the PRGR? A range ball vs a premium. I looked Up the algorithm and did a quick google search as well and it sounds like it might hit their wasn’t a consensus
  18. No green fees for members. Public during premium times pay anywhere from $60-$85 for a round.
  19. Just picked up a PRGR launch monitor on cyber Monday sale. Should be great for speed training and range work
  20. If things change after taking lessons the next few months and the head is still up for grabs I’ll reach out
  21. At my course it’s $35 per person taking a cart. I can understand why it keeps them in the black
  22. My course is semi private, member play goes until 1 then the public can purchase times. Unfortunately charges a walking/trail feet. $5-9/$10-18 during the week and the weekends it’s $18-18. It drives me absolutely absurd that we have to pay it. No restrictions on when we can walk the course though. However my friends at the local country club do not get charged to walk whatsoever and they have no restrictions
  23. I wish I could use it. I need the 10.5 likely with as low as I launch it.
  24. The gen 5 pxg driver with the ventus or graphite design shaft
  25. You can always try a demo program from some of the smaller DTC brands to test out the driving irons or I’ve seen good deals from callaway pre owned and 2nd swing lately.
