DRIVER HELP NEEDED!

Last year I was averaging right around 285 total distance on my driver and for the most part I would hit it dead straight. This season my driver doesnt even come out of my bag anymore, im getting good distance off of it but im slicing the ball to the right roguhly 50 yards. I have not changed grip, swing or club since last season, im at a total loss for how to fix this. Multiple range sessions have not helped at all and watching to many youtube videos is making it worse.

In my opinion,  since you are unable to self diagnose/self correct stop watching youtube videos and schedule a lesson with a pro and have him look at your swing.   While you don't think anything change from last season to this season it obviously has or you would still be hitting your 285 straight shot.    You could also post a video of your swing and some of the members that understand the swing could provide some advice on what you are doing,

It's either swing path, club face or both.  A teaching pro would give you the best help. 

But if you are trying to self correct,  try hitting big push draws, followed by pull fades. Hit 5 off each before switching.  do this drill every time you hit.  Should help you find the feel for the right path and face angle.

I gave up the youtube videos weeks ago! haha You are right, i need to have someone else take a look at see what they can get figured out for me! I like the idea of taking a video, I will try that!

Try Skillest. Video your swing face on annd down the line, then reach out to an instructor. Been working w the same online coach for a year now and very happy.  Hitting my irons so much better and more consistently.
And stay off of YouTube - the right fix for one person could make things worse for someone else.

How'd you end up choosing an instructor? I've gone through there and thought about doing, but there's so many options I just had no clue who to pick

Just pick one. If you want some recommendations Dan Carraher is great and for his knowledge the price is a steal.

I saw a recommendation from someone else talking about their coach. I looked at some of her posts and followed her on social media a bit. Liked what she talked about.  I reached out and asked some questions. I’ve been working w Molly Lavercombe   and found her to be very responsive.   She was honest w me from the get go - not about focusing on trackman data and would recommend someone else who was - and I appreciated that.  She helped w an immediate hosel problem and we’ve worked on a long term plan since then
