Beat up, yes, but I found them. I sat all day hoping they'd sell so I wouldn't buy them.... They didn't. So I negotiated and got the price where I needed it to be... And then called The Iron Factory and have them expecting them so they can do their thing and refinish them... What are they? It's easier to show you rather than tell you... My latest Holy Grail... RookieBlue7 Posted December 29, 2012 Author Share Posted December 29, 2012 No, none of them were ever Miura Forged. But they are the Split Cavity Prototypes that were never released. I'm having them completely refinished at The Iron Factory and I'm going with satin chrome instead of bright chrome. I'll be assembling them with DG Tour Issues and most likely Golf Pride Green Victory Half Cords (unless the Lamkin Crossline Nike Cords in Oversized are close to the current midsize). They'll get black long ferrules with silver rings. Swingweighting them at D3. And even though I've made fun of them in the past, I'll be buying iron covers for the first time ever. I'm protecting these as they're getting more and more rare, and I regret selling the first set I had like crazy. Gotta protect my investment this time. So anyone with some good cover recommendations? LOL.
