jaxbeachpackerfan
Check out the updated questions 1 and 2. Thoughts? Oh man--if you're choosing where to play in addition to Kapalua, I just can't see choosing the Ka'anapali courses over the Wailea courses. Again, think memorable, never ever forget Hawaii vistas and slopes (Wailea) versus two courses that could have been transplanted from a nice Florida resort (Ka'anapali). I've played them three times and I can't remember a single hole from Ka'anapali, which is definitely not the case with Wailea. IMHO. Aotearoa_Brad
I'm intrigued by those tees (the ones with the flouro head) ... whats the story there? I think I have seen something similar somewhere else, but can't for the life of me remember where or what was so special about them... I'd love to be enlightened

I'd love to be enlightened The colored ones are called lollipop tees. The soft rubber cap grabs the bottom of the driver and pulls it out so you don't snap it. They last a looooong time. I could probably just pack one and be fine. I got them from Jay Green at TP MIlls/Piedmont Leather. You can actually find them here at puttertape.com Tell him Golfspy Dave sent ya Volvo Intorqueo All the cool kids follow me on twitter: @GolfspyDave If you are not a cool kid, following me on twitter will make you cool... SPY VIP GolfSpy Dave Posted August 7, 2013 Author SPY VIP Share Posted August 7, 2013 Only other thing I didn't see was sunglasses. Don't forget them, you'll need them Packed four pairs, including two new Maui Jim styles. Researching the playability of Maui Jim's in Maui seems a slam dunk. And don't forget the new boxers either Packed, along with a pair in the "habanero" pattern that I got on sale from REI. Begone swass! Drove by the Kai courses on the way to the resort. Super excited! jaxbeachpackerfan
Check post 4 for a new video... Yes, very cool. It does appear to show the microclimate of the area with Kapalua being on the very edge of the rain bands, while I bet you didn't see a drop of precipitation at Ka'anapali even though its probably not even 10 miles south!
