  1. you don’t sound very fun to play with
  2. big order today: Titleist T100 4-PW, dynamic gold x7 shafts, standard loft, 1* flat Cobra utility 2i, tensei AV white am (2) shaft, 100g, extra stiff all with golf pride tour velvet 360 white grips
  3. depending how comfortable you are pulling your own shafts and reassembling them, you can always look into having them powder coated
  4. if you just want to go matte black, you can cut heat shrink tubing to size and run a heat gun over the shaft of your club. you could also bring your clubs to an auto body shop that does car wraps. i’m guessing a wrap would add 5-10g of weight to the club though.
  5. @StrawberryShortCake i also prefer things clean and unbranded. i shaved all the badges off the back of my car, removed all the decals from my motorcycle frame, etc. gonna strip the wedge shafts and see how they look. wd-40 makes quick work of any leftover adhesive
  6. i care very little about trade in or resale value, especially since there aren’t a ton of people who have the speed to game DG X7 shafts in their irons. more a question of curiosity
  7. i didn’t mind the old shaft bands, but the new decals from project x and dynamic gold are pretty big. when my new clubs come in i mightstrip the wedge shafts and see how i like it
  8. that lie he had against the grain looked absolutely brutal
  9. i searched but couldn’t find anything on this topic... does anyone remove the shaft stickers from their irons/wedges? everyone loves minimalist club heads and no distracting branding, so i’m curious why most people leave a big sticker on their iron shafts.
  10. catskills would be nice for a vacation home. putnam is juuuust close enough to live there full time. plus a dollar goes a long way up there
  11. i don’t care what direction i go - i just wanna get away from queens/long island. already have my winter spot down in Boca. working on moving out primary residence up into putnam county
  12. i told the guy i’d come get them tomorrow but his neighbor came by and snagged them already. wasn’t meant to be
  13. i don’t need these at all, but i don’t know if i can pass this deal up... wilson blades 3-P and a sand wedge with a leather bag
  14. i’ve also heard great things about TrueSpec. all secondhand, i’ve never been myself, but never a bad word about them
  15. yes, everyone knows the key to consistency is scrub balls of all brands and qualities plucked from the rough of your local course. it would seem with your business booming as it is, buying a few sleeves of your choice wouldn’t be an issue.
  16. asking for variables in golf balls coming off your putter is kind of a moot point when you’re playing balls you find on the course. even proV1 vs proV1 you have no idea how old the ball you found is, how many rounds it has on it, etc. if you wanna scavenge for balls instead of paying $1/per kirkland, be my guest but comparisons of any kind go right out the window.
  17. good chance to get a look at what everyone will be facing this week. and pretty interesting to see what all goes in to getting a course major ready https://mobile.twitter.com/foreplaypod/status/1306203506530037760?s=10
  18. https://www.costco.com/kirkland-signature-3-piece-urethane-cover-golf-ball%2C-2-dozen.product.100406428.html and just like that, all inconsistency vanished...
  19. 90tx is what i was fitted for. i’ve been scouring ebay for one but no such luck
  20. for sure mostly referring to tee shots here. everyone’s on their own after that haha
