I been playing for 43yrs and find that I play my best when I don't use any modern technology, to many times I see younger players whip out a rangefinder or their phone to get a yardage.

Date 12/11/2023 Course Name Sun City Golf Club Cowan Creek Gross Score 66 Course Handicap 1 Gross Strokes over/under par -6 Net Score to Par -7 Net Score 65 Net Birdies or better 8 Longest Drive 312 SIM Round? Today was an awesome round. I tweaked a slight flaw in my swing while warming up. Took that fix to the course and bam. Hit 11 fairways with 6 drives over 290. Hit 14 greens and had 30 putts. The front was not anything special. A 1 under with 2 birdies and 1 bogey. Then the back. It all came together. Shot a 5 under 31 with 2 lip outs. Hit 8 greens and had 14 putts on that side. That was 2 putt birdies on both par 5’s I hit in 2. It was cold, windy and maybe one of the best rounds I had this year! Needless to say very pleased and we played by the rules! Now that it is after the announcement, I can say this round was played with the Odin Golf Ball. 

Just wanted to share the great experience I had dealing with PING, I found a PING ANSER putter from the 1960's at a yard sale for $5.00. I tried soaking it in Coke brand pop, it did take off some of the years of tarnish etc. I wasn't happy though, so I attempted to get out all the nicks, dings and stains, you guessed it ... I did a horrible job.
I found a you tube video that pointed me to contact PING directly for the refinish, Let me tell you that this should have been the first and only step I should have taken from the start. I contacted PING through their website, submitted the repair/refinish online form, 1 day later I was given a price for the repair and shipping. I took the additional steps to process the order and ship the putter to PING. 
Once they received the putter it was just a few more days before it was shipped back to me, to my surprise the results were unbelievable. See for yourself below, I included the link to the PING order form and what I have paid to have my "NEW" Putter refinished. 
I would do it again in a heartbeat, if I would have known how great the putter would turn out in the beginning.

Turned out great!

That looks really nice. It's funny how when I got mine back in the 80s I hated how shiny it was and couldn't wait for it to tarnish and get that bronze like color. After seeing these pics though I'm tempted to send mine in too.
