Considering how I hit the Titleist drivers, I am surprised they are ranked that low.  I destroy my TSr2.  I did the 3 as well and it was close on deciding which to replace my TSi3.  🙂

    Orry for the delayed response.
Absolutely love it. I was a little concerned about spin at first, but it hasn't increased at all. Distance and forgiveness is all that has increased. On my simulator, I was consistently longer with the same smash factor.
Played in very windy conditions Friday and it never once ballooned on me. I prefer to carry the ball as far as possible and my launch angle is a little high for my swing speed, but I don't like roll as that can get me in trouble At the two courses I belong to and play. So I went from hitting a 10⁰ in the TSi3 to a 9⁰ in TSr2. Went from a mid launch low spin shaft to low launch low spin shaft and it is perfect.
If I miss the center, it's a little toward the toe.  When I'm a 1/4" toward the toe, I lose zero distance with the TSr. With the tsi3, I would lose 15 yards on that shot and it would draw more.
Switching to the TSr is a change that I recommend to anyone playing Titleist drivers.

Aw man, a major bag change. 3 things that havent changed and i dont change are my 5 wood, my hybrid and my putter. Playing for as long as i have, ive only owned 4 putters.
Driver from TSi3 to TSr2. Then my long time 3 Wood sim max adjustable to Titleist TSi2.
Srixon ZX5 irons. Loved how they felt over a year ago but just didn't like the extra distance. I came across a crazy good deal on Ebay that was ending very cheap, I bid with 9 seconds left and got them WAY below market value with a shaft that I had hit the stiff version of at club champion. LZ 6.5. These things are money on fitting me.
Then the Wedges. Loved the feel of the Titleist Wedges. Went with SM9 on the sand and lob and the sm9 on the gap.

Yes, I love the feel, and I think the TX will be your shaft.  I have never hit them, but like I said, they are a bit softer than the x100.  They just feel smooth, the x100 to me felt way more stout (which I don't mind either) but I would never use the word smooth with the x100.  When I was fitted, using the Mizuno fitting tool, the Modus never even came up on the recommended shafts for me.  The top one was the x100.  I picked the Modus because I was used to it I guess.  It was in the last set of clubs I had and is in my gamers now.

I was reading through your posts, I have the Modus 120x shafts and I feel as if I have a hard transition too.  I was a former baseball player and I absolutely love this shaft.  It's a bit softer than what you currently swing (x100) but it's much smoother too.  My swing is more like Jon Rahm, not much of a backswing but a lot of torque.  The shaft keeps up, no problem.

I have a PhD in biomechanics so I want to know what is going on.  So, I like the why's and how's.  However, I think it should be a joint effort toward obtaining the players goals with their expertise.  So for me, that can only happen if I know why.
The only true fitting I have had was exactly the opposite and it was actually at Club Champion.  He kept pushing to what he thought I needed due to my age, not paying attention to the metrics that were displaying on the screen such as apex height, fairway side tendency, spin rates, distance etc..  Finally, I left.  I have no need for a 218 yard 6 iron that is going 135 feet in the air.  They did email me back and said that I had valid points about my metrics and offered another free fitting and have other colleagues involved, but I never contacted them back.

The enclosure is a dual purpose.  Baseball and golf.  I owned a training facility for years when I was working with professional pitchers so I have a cameras, stands etc that I use in there. One of my cameras is a Casio ZR1000 that can do a true 1000 fps.  I don't ever go over 120 for hitting or golf though except when filming pitchers.  Then I put it on 480 fps.  The cage itself is 70 x 16 x 12 with the golf insert being 10 x 12 x 10.
My oldest is still playing college baseball and it is there for him to work on his pitching/hitting and I still do a few lessons in there.  I can take the golf portion down within about 6 minutes.  The batter boxes are concrete and level.  The mound is built to major league specs and has all we need in it.
I have a 40 acre flat field that I hit balls into when I don't mind going for a walk to pick them up.  🙂 I can't hit during the summer though since we grow hay then.  But one of the courses I am a member at has a giant range and I can hit all I want there, so it doesn't matter.

You are right.  That stands true with anything in life.  The better the communication, the better off you are.  I filled out their form that they had and repeatedly told him what I wanted and he mentioned my age and how I should be transitioning to players distance...blah blah blah.  He did not listen whatsoever.  I still have the email that he sent me that said his colleagues have reviewed my information and would like to give me another fitting at no charge to try and get me into clubs that suit my needs and accomplish my goals.  So...maybe I should take him up on that.
