I would like to get this type of hat too! But the current hat offerings from Titleist seem different from the ones the caddie wears. The brim of his hats are a lot narrower, which what I like... Anyone knows what this exact model is?

Hard becuase it truly is so subjective. Added in to what type of forging and if it is a pieced forging like the i500 the feel isn't that of a forged iron so begs the question why forging matters? Mizuno Hot Metal is likely going to be up there as the most forged, but many found the boron to not feel super forged. Cobra and their Forged Tec would be another one, but again that is piece forged not full body and typically has a "clicky" feeling. Those are the top couple that come to mind, but with companies like Sub70 having new forged options and more there are bound to be others that are "more forgiving" in the end very person dependent.

I had found myself putting from off the green a lot. I'm a good putter, but my chipping can go either way. When I saw that Ping was coming out with the ChipR I knew this was something that I needed. I ordered one the day they were released. I tried it once and liked it. After that I cut it down 2 inches so that it would be more comparable to my putter length. I use Pure DTX standard grips on my irons and woods. I ordered a midsize so that I could stretch it to the max and still maintain a similar OD. After this I was even more pleased. It helped me win some money in the quota game. The older guys from years past knew what they were doing. At 73, I guess I'm one of them now.

I play a lot of nine hole rounds with a Sunday bag. Something like this could be real handy with just the 5, 7 and 9 irons. A ChipR and SW would cover the bottom of the set. Throw in a driver, 7W and putter and you have a minimalist eight club bag.

Lol - my Mazel (Square Strike Sibling) came with a cover, and it's hilarious. "Chipper" it says - as if I could be confused what it could be, lol.  I'm keeping it on, just to piss off anyone I play with 😉

The negative? I didn’t have to use it once during my actual round this morning!

The positive? I chipped for about 15 minutes before my round and it was a joke. Just stupid east to use. My nemesis shot is when I’m just in the rough off the green with not a lot of green to work with.  First 3 chips i hit from this location all ended within 2 ft of the hole. Need to spend some more time on the longer chips to see where the top end of my range is with the putting grip/stroke and when in need to start using a more tradition chipping grip and motion.

Early feedback is extremely promising and my big take away from my round was there was no performance drop of from going from 50/54/60 to 52/58

Tobacco Road is outstanding.     The first time you play it will be the hardest.
The Sand Hills is a golfing paradise and you don't even have to play any of the Pinehurst resort courses.     Pine Needles, Mid Pines, Mid South, Dormie (I think it went private), and Talamore are all very, very good.   Take a look at each course's website to get some pics and pricing and see what looks good for your taste and budget.    You'll enjoy any of these courses being named in this thread.

I would recommend Mid South, Dormie Club (if you can get on) and Pinehurst #7.  I go down every year and these are some of my favorites.  Tobacco Road looks hard from the tee box but is actually a pretty easy course if you don't trust your eyes.  Get a yardage book or and trust the book.  Landing areas are really big but look tiny from the tee boxes.

I would love for Fujikura to replace the breaks regardless, but there are two scenarios at play here:
    1. The person who broke the shaft bought the shaft from someone other than an authorized dealer , such as buying second hand
    2. If the person bought from an authorized dealer and is not getting the shaft replaced, the authorized dealer is not being persistent enough with Fuji on this. as a dealer, i got the "we don't normally warranty this type of break, but..."

I have several different brands and models. I want to get some like the Titleist bucket worn by Will Zatoris's caddie. They could sell a lot of them.

My two cents worth. When my doctor of 25 years told me to start wearing a wide brim hat to slow down the cancer spots, i complied. That hits home. Everyone should where them. Sun screen helps some, but no sun is better. i wear my Titleist and Nike Wide brim hats all the time outside, even when i'm not golfing.
to those that think you look dorky, i say, rather look dorky than be dead.

I wear nothing but wide brim hats since I play 200 rounds a year and mostly in Arizona. My dermatologist says they help tremendously in protecting against skin cancer.

bucket hats do seem to be in style. My 16 yo wants a beige bucket hat.
I have a couple of bucket hats, and, a couple of sun hats - Titleist Aussie, and, a Columbia fishing hat. I get a bad reaction to chemical sunscreens, so, I cover up.

... With virtually everyday full sun and hot here in Phoenix, I went down a rabbit hole and have 10 sun hats  🤪  (2 still have tags on them). Once I found the Walter Hagen hats in white and light gray with a very wide brim that you see in my avatar, I stoped using the others. When winter rolls around and temps get back in the 60/70's I will wear the darker colored sun hats again.

I’ve been playing the TaylorMade Original One (11.5 head turned down to 10) since it was released. For me a fantastic alternative to the driver. I often play alone on the same course giving me the luxury to hit multiple shots when practicing. After 6+ months of hitting tee shots with both a driver and the Original One, you find out your expected landing spots, the distances etc.
The resulting difference was that when I hit them both at 9+/10, the driver is about 8-12yds longer on average. However, for whatever reason the accuracy of the Original One made the choice clear. I’d rather be in the fairway ½ club short than possible vs. OB, in the rough, behind a tree, whatever.
Perhaps it’s the ½ to ¾ inch difference in length and smaller face real estate that gives me that confidence over the ball.
Lastly, someone previously mention after market shaft. I would completely agree. I think having changed mine out to a Ventus Blue VeloCore made a huge difference. BTW, I also have OEM after market shaft options used in the driver, so the comparison was fair imo.

I can only confirm having heard the same feedback concerning Srixon's...Koepka just gave an interview that's posted on Golf.com (and now I can't find the link) talking about how impressed he was with it.  Not sure if that's the Z-Star, the XV, or the Black Diamond he's using, and who knows how much stock you can put in an interview once the guy's on contract.  That said, I do think I remember Tony Covey confirming that attribute in a write-up on the Z-Star on the main page.
I play a ProV1X so I can't really provide my own perspective.  Personally, once you get into the premium ball space I'm not sure how much stock I would put in the ball to fight the wind versus mastering the technique to knock it down.

I carry a driver and a mini. The mini is good for short par fours where hitting through the fairway can be an issue. Leaves me a full club less into the green than a standard 3W. I also carry a 3HL (16.5) that I use off the deck.
