  1. I play around 80+ rounds a year and have 5 pairs of Puma on rotation dependent on course conditions and outfit .

My Puma Titan Tour Ignite soft spikes are used mainly for special away days etc.  I also have Puma Proadapt soft spiked ,Puma Ignite Pro spikeless ,Puma Alphacat leather spikeless and a pair of Puma original G's .  All are leather and cleaned and polished / balmed after use. most of my shoes will last 3/4 years minimum due to rotation .

Once they lose waterproofing or crack then they become my range pair etc. All my pairs are either solid black or white as that's my golfing outfit colours on the course.

  2. White wooden tees only . a few reasons why are -

    1.  With Driver , if I burst my tee then I must be hitting down on the ball instead of hitting up.

    2. At par 3's and short par 4's will just use someone else's (white) broken tee

    3. Tradition and what I've always used.

    4. Tried bamboo tees and found them no more resilient than wooden tees but cost significantly more.

  3. Our local driving range in Perth, Scotland is £6 for 50 , £10 for 100

All bays have Trackman , which you can log into for stats , games etc

Srixon range balls replaced every year and new mats in the covered bays , also a small grass area.

Used to be £4 & £7 before they got Trackman in.

  4. Hi Christof ,

Lucky you  both courses look absolutely amazing , especially Golf Club Nampont St.Martin with the Chateaux .  I can completely understand why you lost so many balls with all that water about on Les Cignes ( nevermind Titleist are doing 4 for 3 offer at the moment).

Good luck on your decision with your bag , onwards and upwards Christof .

I'm looking to see that handicap falling dramatically over the season , down to 20 minimum.

    Hello King Cobra

Is very firm bag, only is not 100% waterproof, the 2 holes from below in the 1st compartment, in rainy weather or heavy rain weather water runs in. I bought bag at Clubhous golf, I emailed to Big max Austria, is a bag specially designed and made for the golfers in U.K. but in U.K. they will not play golf in the rain!?!!

    Greetings
    Christof

That's not very good Chistoff , I've had my Titleist StaDry for over a year now and is excellent in the rain , not sure if it's a good fit on a trolley as I carry my bag.

  7. Now considering one to replace my old Wilson M3 Hybryd.

If it's good enough for Tommy Fleetwood and other pros then it'll be in my bag.

Do any PGA players use a 7-wood?

Among them are Dustin Johnson, Adam Scott, Bubba Watson, Max Homa, Louis Oosthuizen, Ian Poulter and Tyrrell Hatton. Jason Kokrak also had a 7-wood in the bag when he won the 2021 Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club.1 Jun 2021
