  7. The driver is working for the most part. Had a bad day with it today, but that's most certainly me not the club. I do have a few others I'm trying out here and there but nothing has unseated it yet!
  8. Welcome Vince! If you want to send any other that hot weather up to Halifax Canada it would be very much appreciated! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  9. Definitely my Cobra f7 3 wood. Off the deck or the tee the thing is a beast. Even the odd time where I have a miss hit it saves me. The other times when the shot doesn't go as planned it's all on me and I know exactly what to do next time around. It's been a saviour this season and honestly the first and only 3 wood I've ever had confidence hitting. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  10. Thankfully I haven't run into any dogs that I would say we're out of line or out of control. We have come across a couple not so friendly dogs (our neighbours dog being one of them) and their owners have been great simply saying their dog doesn't play well and we move on. My pup has learned that our neighbours dog is unfriendly and as our yard isn't fenced and I rarely have him on leash at home. he stays away and just watches the neighbours dog while it barks at the end of it's rope desperately trying to get to at him. The rest of the folks in our neighbourhood that have dogs are all very friendly and the dogs romp around and play in a common area right by all the houses.
  11. Thanks! He's a great dog and loves hanging out in the garage with me while I'm working or cleaning the sticks after a round.
  12. Welcome! It's a easy bug to catch and definitely addictive Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  13. Figured after I did a good clean on the sticks they would good for my first MGS WIMB. Only carrying 13 clubs right now as I am still figuring out my wedges and whether to potentially throw a 3 iron into the mix. Anyway here goes! Driver Cobra Fly Z+ Blue 10.5* xstiff 3 wood Cobra F7 Baffler 15* stiff 5 wood Nike Vapor Fly 19* stiff Irons 4-GW Ping i Nippon Modus 105 stiff Wedge Cobra Tour Trusty Rusty 56* Putter Nike converge SC-12 Counter Balance For the first time in a well forever I am really happy with everything in my bag and really enjoy hitting all my clubs....until something newer and more shiny comes along!
  14. Hanging out while I clean my clubs
  15. It's something that I am looking into likely for next season and am considering now that I am playing a lot more. Even on my home course I'm sure it would help with more exact distances.
  16. Small rant and it's not a huge deal but it was pretty annoying. Earlier today I went to a course with a friend and it wasn't one I had ever played before but heard decent things about it. He has played there once about 5 years ago and really didn't remember the course. We check in and all is good go get warmed up and start the round, but when we walk up the the tee I realize there is no map of the course whatsoever. No hole layout anywhere to be found. Not on their website, score card or at the course. I know there are apps and gps systems that may have the course layout, but I'm a little old fashion and like to see somewhere at the course. I really enjoyed the round and played very well all things considered. It just sucks knowing I left some shots out there simply by not knowing where and when to go for shots with a lot of them being blind. Anyway there is my rant. I guess I should just suck it up and get with technology and use one of the gps apps on my phone. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  17. Thanks for the links. Hopefully someone in the reviews is able to try the dual weight system. It's good to know they have those separately available.
  18. I have the f7 3 wood and it may be my favourite club in the bag. Even when we sometimes don't get along! Does cobra sell the weights separately? Would be a shame to go buy a whole new driver if they do sell the weights. Be interesting to see how the dual weight performs compared to the original. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  20. Maybe it's a bit more of a Canadian thing, but I definitely find a decent amount of left handed clubs here. I also think we have more lefties here in Canada then most other places. I have really only found one club that I really wanted and it wasn't available. It was the cobra baffler fairway from last year. Thankfully they brought one out this year so problem solved! Even when I look online for used golf equipment in my area I would say 40% is left handed. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  21. May I had 20 - 18 hole rounds and 2 - 9 hole rounds 22 rounds at 4 different courses. Hoping to get out to a few more courses in June that I have never been to before. Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy

  24. Very nice! Great set you there Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
  25. I always enjoyed reading about golf well everything. In particular club reviews and info on new things coming out. I would say 99% of the time I found MGS to have the best of both. That and I really enjoyed reading all the data they gave along with the most wanted articles. It's just an amazing site and community that quickly got me hooked! Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy
