Due to the last page or so of comments we have to put this thread in a timeout. To all I know the LIV issue and its background issues are intertwined and linked. It is just a crappy situation and one that isn't going to go away anytime soon. However we are a golfing forum and the other stuff with LIV is just too close to the politcal debate and discussion we don't allow here. I don't like LIV as much as many of you, however this is not the platform for the discussion around the atrocities that have been commited there and whether or not the PGA Tour or other companies have done it before. There are other mediums for discussing these issues with greater details and debates. This thread will reopen after the US Open is finished or be merged in with the other LIV Thread once we as mods have once again had yet another discussion on how to handle this sensitive topic moving forward.

I wanted to address the "never get picked again" for one I don't really like that it is said. HQ doesn't decide who the testers are. We do as mods. At least it my eyes it is a bit off hand and doesn't give us enough credit to keep memberships honest feelings apart from the test selection process. I put a lot of hours into selecting testers and try to find a balance between new and older members. That being said something that is likely to change a bit is if you are a tester and have tested 5 straight seasons it is a good chance that this year won't be the year. We have such an influx of new members and new members who are contributing we need to give them a chance at testing and show what they can do. This isn't to say anyone who has tested 5 + times this year won't be selected, however we are making an effort to get more new testers involved. Add on top of this limited testing as well it makes getting newer members involved even harder. Again as we have been told we are to expect 20 tests this season. WIth 6 announced already that leaves us with plenty more to come. Although I have no insight as to what will come items I would expect (as they are site sponsors to my knowledge still) - Arccos - Puttout - Birdie Ball - Evnroll - Fujikura - Rapsodo - Honma - Precision Pro - Tommy Armour/Maxfli - Motocaddy Hopefully we see a few others like Ping come on. I am also hopeful that we could see the new Edel Irons come to testing, maybe the Sub70 659 series of irons and potentially other clubs. This was something we requested that we saw more club reviews and for a few less kit/golf balls. Whether this happens or not I don't know. The final note is if you have concers or questions that you may not feel should be posted on the threads, send me or one of the mods a PM. We are part of this community and want to help it grow. Maybe you have an idea that can help us or suggestion as how we can help improve the forum.

This is on the blog site correct? I know they have a date that the winner will be notified, however I don't think it is a public announcement. I would love to hear about those who have won, but don't know of anyone offhand who has.

Amazing how these two have taken to Ivan. We figured all would be good ad they are friendly dogs but seems anytime we leave Ivan to play or roll around they jump right to his side to make sure he isn't alone.

It's summer time here couple weeks and he and Lys go back to Canada. They will be gone a month and it will be lonely for sure, but thankfully work/dogs will keep me busy. The little man is up to 6kg now which is double his birth weight and he is full of smiles.

One thing I did kinda overlook is yes it is 8 events this year. However it is 15 next year and moving forward. Apparently several of these players have signed 5 year deals with LIV, so if OWGR points get awarded a lot of these guys are still looking at playing 20 ish weeks a year which is similar to what most of them do already. If not more. Yes the money is much better. We know that and it always will be. The LIV golfers are being paid far above their market value.... This is also why I like the Team format. Maybe golfers can be signed to guaranteed deals on teams? Anyway not about to go down that route again. I already mentioned I like the team format... just on a better more thoughtout manner. There is still the option for the Tour to get in with the PGL which could bring in similar funding or at least a partner willing to bring in funding and push the game forward.

I finished up the NLU podcast and when they were talking to KVV he had a wild idea that I actually like. It is bold, a little brash and well would certainly send a message. What KVV purposed was for Jay and the PGA Tour to come out and announce The Players officially as the 5th Major, run direclty by the Tour. Run by their rules and their eligibilty. What they choose to do with those who have one previous Players is up to them. Call them Majors or whatever, however this is the kind of bold move I would like to see the Tour make in response.

No, we still have our role. I would assume/like to believe it is simply evolving and am hopeful once their full plan/idea for how they are changing forum testing we will be back to a greater role. Keep in mind this is essentially a volunteer position and at the core we do this for you the membership and wanting to create/grow the experience here. Or at least that is my view. Regardless of HQ directive I will be here for the forum and the membership and do whatever i can to be transparent, open and bring new features to the forum which will aid in everyones experience!

As an update the test for next week on our end has been removed. Not sure why, just was. Given the item could be availability? However the shot scope was unexpected do guess it levels out?

I also read it looks like the porpoising is do bad that Hamilton is a no go for Canada...

Another race on the books. Wasn't too exciting, but had consistent moments throughout. Love the duct tape on Tsunodas car haha Ferrari with plenty of issues along with their customer teams. Lots of bumps for Merc and team orders still somewhat in play for Red Bull. Value Baku is one of my favorite tracks hands down, but this race was a bit dull

So i watched a bit here and there and ultimately ended up watching the PGA tour instead. My thoughts are as follows. 1- production better then expected, golf pretty meh as expected with the field. 2- I lost interest in the golf because i don't really care about millionaires playing for millions more. 3- the team aspect i would like to see ok s bigger scale. That I've explained in a earlier post. 4- This one i admit is a me Problem, but for them to make min 1 million for events and only work 8 of 52 weeks a year is a cheap way out. I mean great the money is there, but they already make a living for playing a game..i don't feel bad for PGA guys to play 20-24 weeks a year and make the Same or more. I could go on but I won't.

As much as i get that. I watch on Eurosport and yeah it's in Italian or German, but there is maybe one commercial per hour. Sky is much better so well. Sucks for everyone in US and Canada who get 3 commercial breaks every 12 minutes, but that isn't the viewing experience worldwide.

Hello all, As we get closer to the US Open I have made up another Major themed theme.... that wording is awful... anyway here is a preview and will be live when you read this. If there are any smaller bugs or colors missing please let me know and I'll do what I can to resolve them quickly. A side note for anyone in the beta testing group we are going to open up all Major themes to you to use. Only think I can think of is when they imported the new beta member test platform over? However really should not have effected just the default. Either way, the default has been buggy as of late especially when newer features are introduced. Good news is that I've found a quick fix for it so there shouldn't be any issues. For future reference if there is a issue like that to any and all, best to send a quick PM to myself or @GolfSpy_BOS@Golfspy_CG2@GolfSpy_CS@GolfSpy MPR@GolfSpy_TCU and one of us will get it sorted or be able to get ahold of the proper mod to sort it away.
