Aweomse! So how do you find gapping? That seems to always be the tricky part... but maybe if you stop at 5 iron it should be okay. -

Welcome to the forum! Your neck of the woods is definitely an area I need to get back to sooner rather than later! -

Which staff deal should I go with?!?!

As a long time Cobra fan, have to go with them here. They have a great lineup of clubs and well have been a big supporter of the forum for many many years. -

Welcome! and great witb! @GolfSpy_KFT you have another person to get on the golf course with now! -
There are so many good wedges and so many incredible options. The more you can test or try (outdoors ideally) for wedges the better off you will be!

Still needing to catch up on this thread! But glad some of you guys already have the drivers and really excited to see how the testing starts with your initial impressions. What do you as testers feel about the change to the blue face? -

Why is it so hard to just find driver heads without a shaft?
GolfSpy_APH replied to TElmore's topic in General Equipment Talk
No need to apologize! I would need to check but I do think the 915 and TSR2 use slightly different adapters. You may want to check with your shop to see if they are compatible. However yes, for you on your case I would look at going used. The context of being new does change or enlighten things a bit. Not say it's wrong, but a new head would have been where I spent my money vs a new shaft. Or going used with the weight profile of the accra. The head technology would lead to bigger and better results (in most cases) vs just a new shaft. -
Last few days before links closes! Get your orders in now for these special and truly awesome gloves! I would have ordered more, but I had ordered 5 the first time around!

Why is it so hard to just find driver heads without a shaft?
GolfSpy_APH replied to TElmore's topic in General Equipment Talk
First welcome! And thanks for posting! Some of the above answer the question - there are a few sites that do this. eBay/Facebook and some second hand sites like clubs4cash, golfbidder, second swing and a few others may have some head only. As for why? Likely more you are in a slightly unique situation where you have the shaft you love and only need a head. Most ppl in general need the whole setup. The other part is cost - when I have seen heads alone or even single irons the discount isn't that much - maybe a slight bit, but when I look at what I could get for the shaft even if it's $50 it works out to more of a discount and I get my club head I was looking for. More ppl are generally looking for shafts vs heads so it's also normally a pretty easy sell. Welcome once again and good question and I am sure you are not the only one wondering about this. -
For those that may not know the forum staff who handle the socials had a reel go viral! 300k plays and counting!

I'm the same way. Actually really interested in this, but given my schedule that day unlikely I'll be able to watch. Should make for a good show!

MyGolfSpy Forum: How To Be A Tester Guide
GolfSpy_APH replied to GolfSpy_APH's topic in Forum Testing Reviews
Really glad you found this guide useful. I think I boost it or send it along about 20 times per week to different people. We really don't ask for a lot (at least I don't think so) considering we provide well over $100,000 in equipment each year. With that we have certain expectations we have for testers, but also expectations that are put on us from the membership, companies and HQ to ensure we are doing this properly and not just a spot to get free equipment. Simply put we won't let it come to that, if we feel we don't have enough good to great testers then we will cut back on testing to an extent. Thankfully we always select new people for each test which means every test there is an opportunity for someone to show out and become an awesome trusted tester! -
I am still a sucker for the MP25 irons. If I was to buy a set I think it would be those or the JPX 921 series. Mizuno makes a really good classic iron that is hard to argue with in terms of quality and performance. Even the older models will still perform exceptionally well.

So cool to see everyone influenced in a positive way for MGS. It is exciting to see that there is such a positive impact on peoples games whether it is the forum or the main site!

I'm a big water drinker - Swiss course have fresh mountain water fountains all over and Switzerland is known for incredible fresh drinking water so it's free and is refreshing. No need for me to do much else. Not a big drinker in terms of alcohol on the course. Maybe the odd beer, but that's about it.
