  1. I kinda have a feeling these new Newton shafts may fit for this purpose. Will be curious for anyone that tries them or is able to get their hands on the range to see how they perform across flexes... or in their case dots.
  2. Not sure how many of you already follow us, but we have to give a big shoutout to @Getoffmylawn for taking over our Forum Socials and making consistent daily posts. If you have not yet followed us be sure to give us a follow!
  3. Watching Reacher season 2 right now. Fantastic.
  4. Glad to hear you found the shaft that is going to work with you! Happy the community could also be on some assistance.
  5. https://mygolfspy.com/buyers-guides/all/best-last-minute-golf-gifts/ Some good last minute golf gift ideas here from the main site!
  6. https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/as-pga-tour-liv-saga-endures-fan-frustration-is-turning-into-apathy/ A good writeup from HQ
  7. https://mygolfspy.com/news-opinion/wilson-fit-ai-the-next-leap-forward/ Could this be the next stage or major development in fitting? Possibly, even if it wasn't it is extremely exciting.
  8. I miss Nike golf clubs. They had so many that I really enjoyed using and that performed well for me. Their putters were extremely underrated and wish I still had of them which is back in Canada in storage.
  9. Yup I believe he is. Still waiting on mine to arrive, but very excited to get it installed so I see what the fuss is all about!
  10. Fair point. I am also pretty confident that if I decided to bring the issue to titleist it would be rectified in a timely manner. Their customer service has always been good and quick to make sure that everything is as it should be in a pinch
  11. Now this is what we like to see! Thanks for posting these!
  12. Good morning all! Couple coffees in the tank. Passport photo done for the little girl, Ivan has a head scan because of his massive dome and Audrey and I are now at get 6 months checkup. Oh and work at the hall complete for the day. Busy morning but after looking forward to catching up on my shows (Reacher, Monarch and for all man kind). Oh and there should be a couple golf surprises coming in the mail today!
  13. It's only my 5 iron and on truth I don't care. Can't see it at address and the club still performs really well so nothing to be discouraged about.
  14. Talked about this on the community call but amazing to see how many 2 irons are in play!
  15. You can mention WRX here. It's not like over there where you'll be struck down for mentioning another forum. The only thing we ask is that people don't don't try to drive traffic there and that we try to keep the conversations here. As for the issue. Mine of the 200 is peeling like a sun burn, but nothing terrible. I'll try and get a photo some time.
  16. Going to add and have basically all the key links to companies we use or have found good deals at in the top front end message. Later here so don't have them all, but will add more Club Brands, Apparel and Shoes/Bags and Tech.
  17. Thanks for posting! Would love to see some photos of your setup!
  18. Don't remember if I posted here, but I started when I was a kid with my dad. We had a little par 3 course about 10 minutes from us where we could have breakfast and 9 holes for $4.95. We would go every Saturday and I loved it. I still remember all the holes and was so excited when I got my first set of new clubs. I think I was probably 12? something like that. My older cousins golfed as well and we would go with them from time to time. I had a birthday there as well that I remember (a friend only used his putter the whole time). No driver, no fancy golf balls, just fun and some golfing. I played till about high school and stopped for other sports and interests and didn't pick the game back up again till I was in my mid twenties. Its been an addiction since then.
  19. Usually in terms of foam or substance for hollow body designs. Some shaft options as well. Many are limited to KBS, while a great shaft company some prefer others. Outside of that the R&D budget just isn't the same. Again still great clubs and will perform, but as expected budgets are just not the same.
  20. Guess we will see what a full bag will cost and I'm sure MGS hq will be doing a story or purchase on them!
  21. I have 7 irons (set gap to 5 iron) and also 54 58 wedge setup. This works for me and I am still sorting the middle section of my bag as it stands. 3 wood and driver are safe. Much of the time I do only have 12 or 13 clubs vs the 14 standard.
  22. Definitely produce a good product. Maybe not all the tech of some of the other big names, but in terms of a very good performing solid product. These and other brands are definitely right there and easy recommendations for those not wanting to spend a small fortune.
  23. @GolfSpy SAM I think you were spot on with pricing!
  24. I know we have communicated this in community calls, but maybe not here as much. We reach out to the testers shortly after registration closes. Throughout sign up we constantly look at and discuss various applicants. While many sign up later, within the first 24 hours is when we get the bull of sign ups. Testers are contacted, they need to accept the terms and conditions, have a quick call to go over expectations etc and then we fire off their info to the company. In most cases by the time the announcement is made Tuesday the order has been placed and the testers have already started their intros etc. This method helps so we don't announce testers that then can't commit or back out due to a variety of reasons. Odin was super quick to get the product out which was nice to see!
