First hole last Tuesday, 10th on TPC Dye's Valley course.  Hit a 9 iron from 137 dead on the pin, high trajectory.  We all saw heading for the pin, but no one saw it hit.  There's a swale in front of the green, we thought maybe it was short (though it felt like I flushed it).  There was also a ridge on the green about 5 yds beyond the hole, maybe I airmailed it.  We drove up to the green, no ball.  Only one place it could be--and sure enough, in the cup slam dunk for an eagle two!  Didn't even damage the hole cut, just a very slight nick.  Coupled with a par on the very tough par 3 11th, it was an awesome start to the round.  
 
Finished 40/41 81 with FOUR three puts.

I hope they do bring it that way I can swipe those irons off you lol

I had one of my better ball-striking days today. Pured a bunch of shots! The Hogans are going to have to bring it!!!!

Notes:
 
- No spin on wedge shots. NONE!
- Extra soft off of every club
- Probably 5 yards more distance off driver and a tad more online.
- They are extra soft, too soft for my liking.
 
 
These are a severe disappointment, I like a good soft ball that performs off the wedges, but these.... don't. These perform in the distance category only for me. I test balls from the green back, and I didn't care for them one bit around the green. Not worth the price for me to keep playing them.

It's clearly wrong to do it, I agree, but I suspect that anyone who would pick through those boxes were in pretty dire situations themselves.

Interesting, I may investigate this update process to carve a 4 hour window out of may day for "offline research"
 

I haven't bought anything but my next purchases will be a rangefinder then arccos or shotscope....sorry had to chime in I need to buy something soon

Used my shop credit from the tournament today at Fresh Meadow on a TM Spider Red center shaft. After credit was out of pocket $20 so not a bad deal at all.

I have always had an iPhone.  Actually, I am still using an iPhone 4S.  The only reason I haven't upgraded yet is that @cksurfdude sent me a Mophie battery extender.  Thanks again!!  However, it's time to get a new one soon.
 
I never do anything with Google.  It is such an invasive company.  They will crawl your hard drive.  My wife and I are all Mac-based. A year ago, she put a Dr. appt on her calendar in Microsoft Office.  On the day of her appt, she got a reminder from Google!!  

Not to start the no win Android vs Apple debate, but I sure hope MDGolfHacker reads this post, we just had this conversation this weekend!!    Like you my G4 died I swear almost on the two year anniversary date, I'm not makign it up.   Problem solved, back to Iphone 

My cell phone died yesterday. Completely bricked. I use Google Play Music, Google Maps, Google Drive, etc, so have always bought android phones, but their hardware is crap. Every Android phone I've owned is dead in two years.
 
My iPad which I got as a Christmas gift from my old company is nearly 5 years old and just keeps going, so I just bought my first iPhone.
 
Goodbye Android.

Dog Days of summer and the heat has eveyone a bit grouchy?   But I hear ya!

I wanted 7 so i could coach my very own football team... We stopped at 1... the one that made me play golf :rolleyes:

Two is the perfect number of kids.  As parents, you can play a man-to-man defense.  Once the children outnumber the parents, it's straight up zone. 
 
I hate playing a zone defense in any circumstance!  

I retired undefeated after 3.
