  1. That's amazing! I had two shafts snap above the grips on my 6 iron and sand wedge of my Ping i3 Blades about 8 years ago. I lived in Mesa, AZ at the time so I took them to the Ping factory and dropped then off for repair. They called a couple days later to pick them up. When I got there they reshafted all my irons and didn't charge me. Good companies treat you right. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  2. I gamed my late 90's Ping i3 Blades until very recently. Just last month I received my Ping i210's and man what a difference. I've only played a round and a half but I continue to have great experiences. Ex. I hit a 6 iron on a 198 yard par 3; didn't have a great swing or strike, saying so out loud as soon as I made contact. I still ended up on the green with 35 feet for birdie. You'll love the new set. I got the PW and UW with my set. Then the Glide 2.0 54* SW. I go up in the air chipping, but with the ability the new wedge groves provide a wide range of shots are available. 3. These clubs are beautiful! My pro and I had a conversation about potentially holding off on ordering the i210's for the Blueprint. After watching videos and reading reviews today I'm happy with placing the order for the i210's. Although I play well enough to probably game these, the added forgiveness with the i210's will be helpful when I only get out once per month. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  4. I love a fat grip. I starting using them less than 2 years ago and I feel more stable, especially with takeaway. This one looks nice. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  5. Well that certainly makes sense. I am typically not hyped by balls, but this data certainly has me wanting to get the Snell and give it a try.
  6. If you can find them to purchase! I'm striking out on a lot of sites finding them. It's a good thought on them. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  7. I have the MD3 at 60* in my bag. It's the perfect 100-105 yard club. At full swing and distance it will spin the crap out of the ball. I hit the 56* in demo, but decided on 54* Ping Glide 2.0. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  8. My oldest son (14) was drooling at this. He loves his mixed set of MP54 and MP59's with his T7 wedges. To be honest they look great. I can't tell you what they hit like, he plays left and I right.
  9. I supposed that makes sense. I didn't give it that much thought. My swing speed is around 108 mph so that is not to much of a concern for myself. However I'll remember this data the next time my two boys need balls.
  10. I'll give that a look to. If it helps me miss my millimeters rather than inches, as per the review, I'd be all for it!
  11. I have also thought that pros should be using a smaller ball. And perhaps fewer clubs in their bags. Recreational golfers should be using same size ball as now and be allowed more clubs. Obviously this is never going to fly, but it's my unpopular opinion.
  12. Before you are for certain that you need a new putter, you might think about putting on a fat grip (if you haven't already). I did about a year ago and it helped with takeaway. I'm still thinking a new putter is in order. It's just a thought that could save you some money.
  13. Let us know how it goes with those tees. I've been skeptical about speed tees and brush tees, but some people think they help with improvement. I'm curious to know what your feedback is once you've had the chance to play with.
  14. Welcome to the forum. I have had no judgement after about 8 months as a member. Thank you for service our country! The bag is sweet! I've often thought about getting a second bag for days I know are going to be cart days and seeing yours kicked that thought processes into overdrive.
  15. I'll have to give this brand a demo. I'm thinking this is the year for a new putter. With as little as I get to practice I really wonder if it will do any good, but I've been gaming the same Ping Isopur B60i for so many years it feels like part of me; but with technology advancing perhaps so should I.
  16. 2018 was a crazy good year for irons. You really just had to match your game up with the appropriate iron. All manufacturers put out quality products that covered most of the player levels. 2019 is probably going to be even better. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  17. I have not heard of the company but I'll give them a look. Are they making all clubs, an iron maker, or just woods? I could just Google them I suppose. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  18. Agreed. Those are both great options. I found a bit more shapability with the TM - and I'm a Ping enthusiast. Both shot of the club face and had hugely high ball flights. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  19. I know a couple people who build clubs. One makes custom irons. They feel good and hit well. They work for a good amount of people. I say play what you like. Give them a whirl! Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  20. A lot of why I stuck with a blade is distance. I didn't want to get a technology packed iron and then bend them stupidly weak. I hit my Ping i3 blade 6 iron 195 at standard angle. So I didn't want anymore distance. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  21. I like Rick quite a lot. I'm happy he is getting more attention and sponsors, but I do dislike that some of his videos seems like just sponsorship ads. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  22. I tested the M5 at 8.5* in XS shaft set for a slight draw. I hit it well. I felt like I was losing it less to the right. Good sound and feel. Someone really couldn't go wrong with the M5. I haven't hit the M6. Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  23. It's possible. That's more shoes than I have in my entire wardrobe. You have me wondering if I have made mistakes in my life...more shoes could be the answer! Sent using the MyGolfSpy mobile app
  24. I would really like to give spikeless shoes a try but as often as I have to change spikes on my shoes due to damage I feel like I would be going thru a lot more actual shoes. I walk and carry my bag so I usually only get 5-8 rounds before I have a couple teeth go missing and it's time to change them out. Any thoughts or big fans of spikeless that might give some input?
