  1. Welcome to the forums hope you enjoy the community and share your thoughts.
  2. And now we have hit the limit of my fitting knowledge so I'll just say hmmmmm and leave it at that
  3. I hope to have a small scale speed problem in the spring. Good luck with your future fittings getting that spin down.
  4. Yeah it is a lot for sure and the spin from the mevo could be a bit off. Also with that speed I would imagine you need at least and X flex, likely less loft amd a new head type. It does seem like your up with a launch of 16 to 18 though.
  5. There are a number of factors that could explain the launch monitor numbers and your real world experience including hitting off a mat, being indoors, another big thing to consider is the ball your playing. If you were fit on a different ball this can really matter. A ball change could give you another 500 rpm which could make the TMs more playable. Also 5.5 degrees less of loft will decrease spin. It looks like comparing spin of your current 6 would make more sense. Of course you need to go with what is most comfortable. Good luck on your search.
  6. Sounds like the speed is paying off so that's a nice problem to have. A number of things you can change, and you might need to combine them to really get the spin down. The hitting more up on the ball, shaft specs, driver loft, and of course a new LST or Sub Zero or similar type of head that produces a lower spin from the start. As is said many times on this site might be time for a fitting.
  7. Makes sense some of them have seemed way off but others have been close.
  8. I mean that's what I want to believe as they are always higher and will show some nice progress if I can count those as club speeds. This seems to happen on my highest swing speed. Thanks for the feedback I had a feeling it might have to do with the radar angle and it catching my swing on the way down then passing a bit too low (the radar might be sitting up a bit) then picking it back up on the upswing right about where I would hit a ball. Of course this could all be wishful thinking.
  9. I wouldn't expect it on the driver as much but this is a common reason for wedges flying higher with the e12. Again in the driver seems possible, could also be a spin difference. I know it's hard to tell in course but does it carry a bit further now? Also higher ball speed will push the apex up. Tough to know without some numbers but there are a number of reasons this could happen.
  10. Just listen to Bryson try and figure out a yardage on the course and he will mention all of the above and more. He makes it seem like a calculus problem.
  11. Just got my own set of Super Speed clubs and have started the protocols. I have enjoyed all the reviews on here and it's what encouraged me to go for it. I have a question though for @SuperSpeed Golf or anyone else if they have the PRGR monitor for there speed measurements. I have a had a swing with the sticks where the monitor picks up a "ball" speed when the obviously isn't one. Is this likely it picked up something moving ahead of me or a missread on the club and both speeds are from the club head. Just want to know what speed I should put in for a club when that happens.
  12. Sounds like some good advice from someone who knows your swing and how you best time your motions to return to impact in a position to make solid contact. I would say roll with it. I agree with others that it could be a bit of feel versus real, but it's about the results. If it works keep it going. Hope you keep hitting them well.
  13. Well the My Spider X article did is job, it got me thinking about the Bruins themed putter I have built on there many time before. Maybe one day I will do it, it would be sweet looking.
  14. Did this a while back and have given them a go for a few rounds. Seems like a good product, didn't renew since Iam very close to snow here in NH than more golf but may sign back up next spring.
  15. Congratulations on the big change and glad you have found and enjoyed golf. Hope you keep enjoying it for years to come.
  16. That is true more I was thinking more with the weight and not staying as trim, most powerlifters have the same build to support the weight they lift, for him it is about supporting the swing speed, at least that is what I would imagine. Interesting to see if this holds up unlike some other big hitters such and Brooks and Champ that have had some injuries that have tremendous speed but a tighter build versus his build, of course swings are completely different as well which likely plays a role.
  17. It is interesting that he had basically done this like a power lifter. Looking for that strong base and mid section to handle the forces he is putting on with each swing. Still strong obviously just not jacked by definition of those that are looking at fat percentages, simply looking for the strength and set up to support all the speed he is looking for. Time will tell if he can hold up on this.
  18. In the same spot, this is the last hold over, but when I hit it well I still really like it, I think it is safe for now
  19. Yeah companies started seeing the money comes from selling the phones and less from the plans so no great deals like that on phones any more, you pay full freight on those. Of course they are not losing money on the plans of course.
  20. I am an Android user but I have found apple phones to just be a bit more stable. Either way as an Android fan gotta throw it there the Pixel 4A this is there cheaper model that will likely work very well for your needs. It's similar in price to the iPhone SE.
  21. Only had to play in real heavy rain at the state tournament in high school years back. I even went to range on a rainy day that week to try and get used to it. Let's just say both sessions went poorly.
  22. I can sympathize with that today just had no direction with the driver. When it was in play no real problems, but plenty of holes were it was in the trees with no real outs. Putting was solid and made a couple up and downs for par, thanks @tommc23 again as the Equalizer 52 was responsible for both of those. Not real great birde ops either. 41/41 for 82.

    NHL

Glad to have you join in, and that's some good hockey right there. I am sure your wheeling around is still quite impressive.
  24. That was a tough one for sure, though Tampa has been quite a team lately. Lots of talent there for sure. Before we take this tread over there is an NHL thread below, would love your thoughts.
  25. That does sound nice for sure. It has been picking up in those areas. If Austin Matthews can develop in Arizona then they can come from anywhere. Do you follow the NHL or more just playing?
