Got a little post range test update for you guys...
I hit about ~10 or so shots with the hybrid last week (Thursday) and my initial impression is that this club sounds smooth. When you hit it in the middle of the face (which I accomplished a few times surprisingly) it has a really pleasant thwack to it. I am definitely impressed with the feel as well, I could tell right away when I did not quite catch it without even seeing the ball flight. Speaking of ball flight... it flew straight, which is different for me (I usually cut the ball with my current Mizuno hybrid), but I found when I hit it well that I was seeing it fly straight as an arrow. It will definitely take some time to get comfortable with but so far so good.

Update, I have hit it.  Went to the range last night and as much of a shame as it was to dirty up this beautiful club, it had to be done.  I tried to do a side by side comparison with my current hybrid and hit enough balls, somewhere between 10-15 each, to get similar swing feelings and see how the shot shape resulted.
Weight:  The 949x is much more of an iron and less of a wood (which the RBz feels like a wood, more weight in head than shaft).  This is definitely a different feel for me personally, but I do like it.  More balance between the weight of the shaft and the head.  15g heavier shaft than previous gamer.
Look:  The head is great.  The face looks just like an iron to me instead of a small 3 wood.  Compact, and straight.
Feel: Very solid hit, good feedback on the strike.
Flight:  I haven't played with any weights yet, so its still on the stock setup, but it definitely flies lower than the Rbz.  The straightness is there.  I definitely know what I can do with the Rbz to induce a rather aggressive hook, and what I have to do to fight it. The 949x is much harder to induce the hook on.  I can easily hit a draw with it but the big left miss was not there.  Moving it from left to right consistently is usually a struggle for me, so I will have to work a little more to make it go both ways.
Bonus Info:  One shot I have always been interested in is the hybrid bump from the fringe.  I am fully aware that it is "old man golf," but I have a tendency to get twitchy and make inconsistent contact with a wedge from the tight grass.  Its something I had tried before but never loved the feel.  I played around the putting green last night with the 949x Pro and its a completely different world.  The compact head, and the heavier shaft make it feel legitimately like a putter if I grip it all the way down.  Something I will continue working on, but if I am in short grass but too far to putt, this will be an option.

I was going to try training some dogs tomorrow but I have an appointment which will mess that up. So with that being said I’m going to head to the range and try to get this dialed in with the weights and get some clips for the thread here and make them into some GIFs

So I am the last one to have received my hybrid as I was out of town last week.  Unfortunately I have not been able to hit it yet, but I am looking at a range at the very least this weekend.  My initial impression was very good though.  Shipped in the same box as everyone else, so I'll leave it at the club was safe.  Definitely no way to be damaged unless they snap the box in half.  All the throw ins were nice, tees, koozies, and ball marker.
First impression was the headcover was very nice. Love the subtlety and feel of it.  The club itself is pure.  So glad I opted for the black grip.  I can't get enough of the head shape too.  It honestly feels like I could do anything with it, and that's been my biggest problem with any new hybrid is the visible offset just LOOKING like a hook.  This doesn't look like a hook at all, it just looks straight.  And smaller than my Rocketballz hybrid.  Will come back with more info after I hit it.

Only played 9 today had some good shots with the club and some bad. I will definitely need to spend time on the range with this baby. Course played super slow so I only got 9 in due to getting frustrated about sitting around and it was getting worse as time went on which meant my play got worse. I’m not good at sitting around I start to play like crap. It was way too hot to walk today with it being 90 but feels like 98. Did use it on the range and it was a smart move on my part I have some getting used to with a hybrid especially since I never gamed one before. It did do great out of the fluffy stuff though which was nice

Sound was not loud or high pitched, at least in my opinion, it was more of a light "tink" of the metal-face contacting the ball. Feel was solid too.

Gotta say these hybrids look primo. I think your real life photos look much better than the stock photos on The website.

Got my hybrid in today and I’ll be taking it to the range and hopefully get a round in this week to see how it goes. So it will be going head to head with my 3 driving iron with a hybrid shaft from Maltby. It came with a nice note and extra weights to mess around with the weights if I need to. The tees and ball marker were a nice surprise and was not expecting that but yet I haven’t really checked to see what guys were getting when they did previous reviews.

Congrats to everyone! expecting big things from this test as I have the 939X (non pro) version but may consider an upgrade to these.

Looking to move my current hybrid down to replace my 4 iron and insert the sub70 hybrid above it hopefully filling the gap between 3W and 4H. Depending on how it performs, it might just replace the hybrid I am gaming now (distance, control, etc.)
Currently playing the 2018 Mizuno MLK 4H. I am hoping to gain a bit of distance and some control with the sub70 hybrid. Also hopefully it will help to mitigate my left miss with my current hybrid.

Played around the practice green and some shots on the course with my buddies sub70 wedges.  Great look at address, good feel and plenty of spin.  Sub70 will be getting more attention in the club market for sure.
