I haven't gotten mine or so far this year, the majority of my rounds have been with friends who ride and I worry I would be a burden to them with how slow I do walk.

I have kept it charged up and am excited to get it out soon. I'm planning on using it work the Cobra stand bag and will have to manipulate the weight of the bag for maximum performance with the Q Follow.

I do apologize for the recent lack of use, golf became secondary to family issues later last year with the loss of my mother-in-law and having to take care of her belongings and caring for my wife.

We have a bunch of that settled now and golf is now getting more of my attention. I'm looking forward to getting back on the course with the Stewart.

I’ll be honest outside of having to put the bag backwards because the legs would open on my stand bag I’m really happy with it. Weight distribution hasn’t been really an issue at all.

Thank you all to those who have paid your invoices already. 🤩

Of the 11 invoices I forwarded out last night only one is left to be paid this AM!

I just send another out, and should be getting the last 5 in the next day or two to send out.

Thanks for setting this up and taking care of it. I know theirs more to it than we all may see or think

@RollingGreens mine is still all good, in every way, though there are little niggles that I’m always aware of,

    1. one is the handle lack of stiffness as mentioned although it’s not been an issue at all.

    2. the ‘guided steering’ is next to useless, wish it was stronger ie more positive.

    3. Wish the remote buttons were more positive with the silicon sleeve on

    4. My golfing partner has been so impressed  over the last 16 months and circa 150 rounds that he bought one himself. HOWEVER the manual does mention not to have 2 follow trolleys too close as they will interfere and oh yes they do. One will start spinning on the spot or go off in a random direction! No problem with normal remote use only when follow is selected on both and they are within 5 meters.

    5. I’ve had Stewart follow trolleys for 5 years now over hundreds of rounds and NEVER had a request for feedback/survey, so I’m interested in their next iteration and I can only assume it’s from their own experiences!

I supisingly have great success with the guided steering. Only because I have to use it all the time with curbs, wood bridges, and also a lot of rocks outlining tee boxes and cart paths.

I’m really pleased the most that I can use my hoofer bag loaded up with what I would say is a small amount of weight. It allows to to take it back and forth from the range with out unloading and use it on the weekends with the trolley with ease

  4. How is everyone's cart holding up @sirchunksalot, @PMookie, @fixyurdivot? Mine has been doing great, battery is still going strong. I have also found a way to use my ping hoofer placed backwards so the legs don't open, Stability with about 15 balls and my wide mouth Nalgene water bottle has been great. Very pleased with how it is holding up at this point. Only thing I still wish is that the handle was stabilized better

  5. I’ll echo what @fixyurdivotsaid I really did think the glide stop is a fantastic feature. The standard stop is like slamming on the merge by brakes lol

as much as I really wanted to hammer in the handle design at the end of the day when if use it to steer around the greens at slower speeds it was never an issue. But if I spent 3k I would want it significantly stronger than the current build.

the storage of using a larger bag almost negated the fact that the cart itself has no storage. I would say it is annoying reaching in and out of your bag vs having everything right in front you you

Here's a video of the trolley going in and out of guided steer mode mode I took this evening in my back yard. It switches back and forward between the two well. It seems to me that in guided mode it does respond week and turns less sharply than in regular mode. I have an issue taking the Stewart into the back yard where it barely turned. Unfortunately, I didn't get that in video since I didn't want to run it into the woods while getting my phone into camera mode. It did straighten out and return to normal after pressing the red stop button.

I apologize for not following the suggestion to the letter @Grasmere5, I didn't have the thread pulled up since my phone was being used as the camera.

As of now, I'm happy with the performance of the Q Follow but also have the responsibility of thoroughly putting it to the test and giving an honest opinion.

The line time I noticed the unresponsive steering was when the battery was lower below 30%. Other than that I’ve never had the issue. The cart also seemed a bit sluggish at the time. Wish I could put a finger on why it occurred. But I will say in the time I’ve had the cart that was the only instance.

  7. Took the q follow out for a round in the home course because the travel day got cancelled because of sickness floating around my buddies house. Gotta be careful with my son still being very young. The q follow was phenomenal. I can’t get over how easy it is to use. Numerous members and guests providing positive comments. One of the best quotes which made should be a selling point for this cart “ that cart gives you everything you want from a caddie without paying for one!”
I easily could have played 36 with it yesterday. I had a lot of extra standing which would have killed me during a normal round with my pushcart. I felt fantastic when I got home. I even racked in another 3 miles of walking with my dogs and a 2 miles bike ride which I never am able to do after a round. Typically exertion level after 18 with a pushcart is about a 6-7/10. I’m usually pretty spent, my course has a few hills with a fair amount of elevation change. Yesterday 3/10. I could have easily just kept looping the course. C298498D-E15A-48DB-9119-09621521D2FF.jpeg.da3408a0ff417ee10a216b7616a57fb1.jpeg

Side note. I almost lost the cart to the woods. I was looking for a ball I put close to a hazard and I sent my cart to the middle of the fairway. I could have sworn that I hit the stop button. I had a little thought that I should check to see where my cart is even though I swear I stopped it. Well I didn’t. My cart was about 80 yards away and heading for the tree line. Thankfully I was able to stop it from that far and used the remote to steer it back towards me. What a situation that would have been image.gif.32a054e3327eb180775a94d000d0f98d.gif

  8. Taking the Q follow on a field trip this weekend to Sand Ridge golf course where they will hold a Q school event next week. Should be a great test since they’re is a bit more wide open than my home course. Not as much water, rocks, or bridges from tee boxes to fairways. My friend also has a moto caddy. It will be cool to see another side by side comparison

A couple of questions for the testers and any others who own/use this cart.

    • Do you hold the pendant in your hand or attach to your belt, back pocket when making your way down the course in follow mode?
    • When getting to your shot, what do you do with the pendant in that mode?

So far follow mode I click it to the back of my belt. I notice if I hold it in my hands and I start moving before clipping it to my belt the cart gets a little jumpy.

I have been trying different methods with the remote. Usually I clip it back to the cart but when I’m on the green I’ve been keeping it with me so I could send the cart to the next hole or meet it on the way
