  1. I got a group going up there mid July! Looking forward to it. When Sweetens opened up their reservation window for the spring earlier this year, it sold out in 30 minutes! We went from trying to go in May to barely grabbing a spot in July. We ended up getting carts with the fear that the temperatures might get up there which should easily allow us to get our money's worth and play at least 45 holes. We are looking around at other courses close by to hit up the day before. I noticed Sewanee Country Club was closed and not open to the public. Would you recommend any others close by?
  2. I did a review on the Rapsodo MLM and really enjoyed it. You can check it out for some more details, but I believe it can really help you hone in your gapping and determine your distance as well as see videos of yourself. One thing I'll mention is that you can't see every video of yourself if you have the free version. It'll only show your most recent shots. You will need to buy the pro version, which I think is $100 a year and opens up tons of video storage, slow motion replay (which was really cool), and an apex point of each shot (which was not very accurate, I hope they have fixed that since my pro version expired in January). I still use Rapsodo at the range and at home in the net, but mainly for yardage and launch angle when hitting into the net. I am also a real believer in lessons. I think @twyatt700 nailed it at least for my thought process in that I go down random youtube video trails/online articles in trying to fix my swing from what I see on Rapsodo. I think lessons are a gamechanger and the Rapsodo can help you maintain those lessons you learned.
  3. I am about to venture down the same trail you went on. I've had the Ping G410 Plus with the Project X Evenflow Black and could carry it 280-290 when hit well. I've been struggling with the left miss and have been working on my grip and swing plane. I'll be getting fitted soon for the Cobra Radspeed and will more than likely be avoiding the XB and XD and sticking to the regular. Seeing so many people using the MotoreX F1 6x, I'll have to give that a try next week. Did you test the XB or XD?
  4. Are there any spies out there that currently game a Cobra big tour fairway wood (Radspeed or Speedzone) OR snakebite full face groove wedge? I’m intrigued by these and will definitely test them out next week at the fitting, but wanted to hear thoughts on those that have these clubs in their bag.
  5. Unfortunately my cobra fitting got delayed until next Monday as Alabama weather is not cooperating early this week. Good news is next Monday, the Cobra rep is only coming back to do a private fitting with me and the guy I take lessons from instead of a open first come first serve session at one of the courses. Super excited is an understatement. The copper finish may be calling my name On the MIM irons...
  6. I randomly selected 7 teams and did a big swap of big dogs. Someone just had to ruin the party...
  7. With my eyes now opened to multi team trades...I have a 7 team trade ready to submit...all 1 for 1s. 0% chance it happens. I won't abuse the multi team trades anymore than this one time, but had to do this one for fun.
  8. Go to your team roster and hover over this icon I circled. Click on it and it'll enable multi team trading.
  9. I like the trade value indicator. I know it's not something to live and die by, but still good to reference as long as we know what is built into it.
  10. This guy might complete with @GB13 for the longest backswing. Fun to watch. Am I right @TBS ? Happy to have you on board Ben.
  11. I find myself rooting for the underdogs in most sports (Alabama football is my one exclusion), but especially golf and add in March Madness. I see how hard it is to win a golf tournament and I love it when someone wins for the first time, or wins for the first time in 5-10 years. Don't get me wrong, I am in awe of watching the top 10 in the OWGR every year. I don't necessarily root against them, but there is something about watching a player breakthrough for the first time whether that is winning or just making the tour. That raw emotion of finally completing one of their life long goals. Examples: - Joel Dahmen in Punta Cana - Any Monday qualifier fulfilling the dream / winning (Corey Connors) - Surprises in 2020-21 season : Comeback Szn Stewart Cink, Robert Streb, & Hudson Swafford.
  12. Let’s go Rory! That took some guts to take a drop on 18 when he had a chance to advance it further down into the fairway. The 2 shot cushion helped, but still forced a precise shot from the rough.
  13. We got some guys in the Birmingham area including myself. Which part of Alabama? Welcome aboard!
  14. Did an update ever get sent out, that you know of, where you don’t have to keep the app open for it to work? I know like people use other apps to keep track of their rounds and might be annoying having to bounce back and forth.
  15. Thank you for your sacrifice. I have been trying to trade him and no bites. #thankful
  16. Someone on Bryson’s team messed up...
  17. I haven't looked this up yet, but is Rickie close to losing his status? I know he is doing fine with all the endorsement type stuff, but when was his last win that locked him up.....edit, I looked this up: Waste Management in 2019.
  18. Matthew NeSmith going -6 on last 7 holes to make the cut was huge. I went 5/5 in the golfers that played this week. Hoping for strong finishes from Rory and Ortiz!
  19. Most impressive round of the 2nd round for me was Matthew NeSmith. With 7 holes to go (started on the back), he was sitting 5 shots off from the cut line. Look at this beauty of a scorecard...
  20. He figured it out in the second round! 2 off the lead going into the weekend. I'd love to see him in the winners circle again.
  21. I bought a Tangkula brand push cart off Amazon. I absolutely love it. It comes with a spring loaded seat that is clutch when you are having to sit on the tee waiting for the group in front or waiting on your partners to finish out the whole. The seat is detachable, so you don't always have to have it on the push cart. I'll do a more in depth "unofficial" review on it, but the $150 I spent on this was well worth it. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07TBLPYWY/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  22. The wind was blowing downwind today and the pin was on the front shelf. Almost made it impossible to stop it before rolling down into the swell or on the back shelf. Challenging green complex wherever the pin is cut for the day.
  23. Haha, I just realized I butchered that spelling! Oh well. It’s in Alabama at a golf course called Bent Brook. One of the RTJs here is also redoing their greens and adding one just like it.
  24. Update: I did not 4 putt. 1 chip, 2 putt actually. Here is @Ben_Howell34 having to putt through the half pipe. Pretty solid effort. IMG_1233.MOV
