  1. Rutgers Golf Invitational at Manasquan River May 10th. Cool opportunity to play awesome course and the price is a bit discounted this year due to Covid. PM me and I can send along more info if interested
  2. I go back and forth which probably says more about golf game than the ball. I do like the spin on the X, but whatever I gain with my Irons regarding stopping I lose with my drives so I usually stick the black.
  3. Somehow on the 18th hole of a downtrodden public course near Boston, I lost, dropped, or misplaced my month old Scotty putter last Sunday. I must have hit a few practice chips since it was almost dark out and forgot to grab my putter. Didn't realize it wasn't in my bag until my next round on Wednesday. Called them on Wednesday and they said no one had turned anything in. Called again over the weekend, spoke to the same guy and still nothing. At this point I figured someone had picked it up and kept it. So I looked on eBay and marketplace, specifically for my college head cover that I had on it since it is fairly cool and unique. No luck. Called one more time today, and the nice old gentleman on the phone asked me few questions and said yes we have it. Come pick it up as soon as possible, things have a habit of disappearing. I was there thirty minutes later and was reunited with my putter. Not sure why it took so long to get turned in, but very appreciative that I was able to get it back!
  4. Callaway pushing a month on wedges that said 5-7 days on the website
  5. Miami/FLL area. Will be up to Jupiter/Palm beach area a bunch.
  6. Will still be remote in November so decided to go to Florida for a month and stay with family. Since my golf season will be extended an extra month, decided I needed to get fitted for some new clubs and ordered a few new wedges (MD5s) a new driver (Mavrik) and a new putter (square back 2) to keep me busy.
  7. Walked a round recently after riding all summer. It felt great and I played well. As the days get shorter its worth playing a late 9 and enjoying the course and the walk.
  8. Love Snell so far, going to try Vice soon and then stick with whatever ball I pick for the foreseeable future.
  9. Only course I have ever played in CO was at Haymaker in Steamboat. Absolutely loved it such a cool environment to play in.
  10. how big are these? I typically wear a XL or XXL and doubt they are big enough.
  11. Golfnow has become pretty important in NJ to get a tee time but I am frustrated by the overall lack of courses listed. IF there were more I'd consider Golfpass
  12. Father in law has a navigator, only see it tip over once on a pretty big hill, I enjoy walking so could be worth the investment in a few years.
  13. In the market to add a hybrid or two to my bag, just haven't been able to get a handle on my long irons. I know I need to improve there, but until I do, a hybrid would be a nice crutch.
  14. Been wondering this question myself, itching to go test some new drivers but most places are still closed.
  15. It seems the nicer or more expensive the course, the less likely they are to take risks which makes sense. Unfortunate as it means I have to schedule a tee time exactly a week in advance or they disappear quickly
  16. I have been a few times, some smaller clubs have not been crowded at all. Some courses that are cheaper have been packed, tee times practically on a rolling basis with no regard for reservations as they try to make more money and dont care at all for 16 minute intervals
  17. I am excited to see Tom and Peyton play head to head. Also will be good to see how rusty Tiger is and if he will anything special in the tank for the Masters again.
  18. Definitely the Masters, its the most iconic
  19. Hey, I have been playing golf for about 8 years on and off. When I was in college I took advantage of having a great course I could play for cheap, but after graduation did not have the time to play more than once or twice a year. However, the past year or so I have really recommitted to the game and try to get more consistent. Already through 8 rounds this year dropped my average score by about 8 strokes. Working on shaving that down over the summer and getting a legitimate handicap. I am in law school in Massachusetts, but from NJ and living in NJ this summer. I mainly play on courses by the Jersey shore. Excited to keep getting better and getting more consistent.
  20. I have played the occasional Vice ball. Bought a pack of oncore elixir and enjoyed those. Got a pack of mtb black last week though and like the feel better then the oncore. Trying to find my go to from now on between the three.
  21. Enjoying this so far. Made me realize how much I miss watching golf in the spring!
