This thread was me thinking of having one of these incase my driver craps out like it did Saturday. Go driver, 13.5, 4w, 7w and then drop the 4i

Well, I received my 8* with Ventus TR blue 6X and it's pretty darn good! Only played a couple holes Saturday and it feels/sounds/performs well. It's going to be a good year for Wilson.

Thats concerning. You need 6 grams of weight at the head or go to a 25 g grip to get to D3.
I would personally send it back and obtain one that is d3. Seems like QC concerns but D0 would feel way too light for me and Id be inconsistent too. You should not have to alter an expensive new driver to get it to said specs.

So we had the Wilson Rep out yesterday.  A couple observations on the Driver and irons
I didn't get to hit the driver, but saw a few people hitting them.
One a gentlemen in his earl 40's  with a 92 mph swing speed.  He hit a decentl high ball 90 feet was getting 135 mph ball speed and 231 to 240 carry on most every shot, a pretty good 1.47 smash factor.    It was 10 to 12 yards longer than his M6.   He was fit into the 10.5 head with the Ventus 6s (non velacore)
One of our course employees who is a +1 and has about a 118 mph swing speed.   He was hitting the Carbon Dynapower at 9 degrees and even 8 to try and kill a bit of spin.  Let me tell you that driver sounds fantastic, right up there with any of the premier drivers in terms of sound.     I didn't get to hear all of his shot numbers, but was only hearing the ball speed occasionaly, seemed to be around 174 to 176 and carry of 288 to 305, I did hear his lngest total was 331.   He is a devoted SIM player and said he could play this driver easily.  He was hititng higher than the other gentleman, so had to be close to100 feet or over and almost straigh as a bullet, a couple with a very small draw, he worked a fade ac couple times on demand as well.
While all the attenion was being focused on him, I grabbed a 7 iron DynaPower iron and went down a few mats to ake some swings.  It had the KBS Max Lite shaft 85 g   Just bout perfect for me.   Man there were some nice shots with that iron.   I didn't have LM numbers but it appeard to be going around 130 yards, maybe 5 to 8 yards less than the Paradym X but still a very nice looking flight and shot
It is a much nice looking club than I expected as well.   Not syaing they are going in my bag or one of my bags, but for the price $899 I think? They certainly need to be an option those in the GI market look at.

Was able to hit the Paradym at a demo day with data being provided by a Trackman 4.  I really liked them at address and the feel was nice - solid but springy.  Ended up getting some very good numbers with the Hzrdus graphite (silver maybe - first shaft in that family I liked) and I put 18 out of 20 on a pretty small Trackman green.  Honestly I would have placed an order on the spot until the fitter gave me the cost - $206 per club with my preferred grip.  Probably just as well given the spelling issues would have driven me insane.  Growing up with an English professor and a newspaper editor makes it hard to live with "Paradym" and "Hzrdus" in my bag.

Ha! I ordered standard length and spot on D3. Wilson's custom department is always very good. I didn't look into the weight I figured it's more for swing-weighting than anything else.

MGS Blog Full Article: Wilson Staff Dynapower Drivers, Fairways and Hybrids

A lineup likely to be overlooked by many and one that I am intrigued by. I don't see a lot of Wilson products around, but I will admit that if I do see them I am going to be excited to give them a try and see how they work for me.
     — Nearly 70 years after Wilson Sporting Goods Co. redefined
expectations around power and distance in the iron category, the company today
announced the re-launch of its Dynapower franchise. The complete equipment line includes
adjustable drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and irons that will be available for pre-order on
    Wednesday, Feb. 22.
“Dynapower changed the game of golf seven decades ago and it’s time for Wilson to do it
again,” said Tim Clarke, President, Wilson Golf. “These powerful irons and adjustable
drivers are built with our legendary history in mind as we continue to innovate and deliver
top-of-the-line products that raise the confidence of golfers at all skill levels. Our technology
is second-to-none and we’re extremely proud of this new line of Dynapower products.”
In 1956, Wilson introduced the original Dynapower iron and its patented bore-through hosel
design that revolutionized weight distribution. By drilling weight out of the hosel, Wilson was
able to redistribute weight directly behind the hitting area for more power. The 2023
Dynapower irons build on this same weighting concept to redefine distance. Using
exclusive Dynapower A.I. modelling, Wilson analyzed thousands of permutations to identify
the perfect variable thickness option for each section of the face to make more of the
clubface hot, especially center-to-toe where approximately 85 percent of shots are hit.

New for 2023 is the family of Dynapower adjustable drivers, fairway woods and hybrids.
New Dynapower drivers are available in two high performance options – Carbon or
Titanium – each offering thousands of custom fit settings. Complementary fairway woods
and hybrids round out the offering, all available in men’s and women’s options.
    Dynapower Carbon Driver Highlights:
    ● Neutral bias, low-spin head design: The adjustable Dynapower Carbon driver was
designed for tour caliber performance. Carbon panels on the crown and sole help
produce a lower spinning, mid-launch ball flight that allows maximum workability and
    maximum distance.
    ● Dynamic face thickness: The PKR2 dynamic face thickness is optimized over the
extended area of the clubface to power faster ball speeds.
    ● Dynamic one-click hosel adapter: The new six-way adjustable hosel allows
players to change their loft and spin in a matter of seconds.
    ● Pricing: Dynapower Carbon Driver: $499.99
    Dynapower Titanium Driver Highlights:
    ● Neutral-to-draw bias, High MOI head design: The new Dynapower Titanium driver
was designed to deliver tour-level power with maximum forgiveness. A 16-gram rear
weight helps produce a high MOI driver head with a deep, rear CG that delivers
forgiving, mid-to-high launch angles with a neutral-to-draw bias.
    ● Dynamic face thickness: The PKR2 dynamic face thickness is optimized over the
extended area of the clubface to power faster ball speeds.
    ● Dynamic sixone-click hosel adapter: The new six-way adjustable hosel allows
players to change their loft and spin in a matter of seconds.
    ● Pricing: Dynapower Titanium Driver: $429.99
    Dynapower Fairway Woods Highlights:
    ● Dynapower Fairway Woods feature rear weighting and variable face thickness to
deliver the fastest ball speeds over the entire face for higher, soaring ball flight.
    ● High MOI head design: Dynapower fairway woods features a 12-gram rear weight
to produce a stable, high MOI club head that delivers forgiving, higher launch angles.
    ● Advance, tour-inspired head shape: Tour player testing resulted in a flatter profile
for a clean setup behind the ball.
    ● Pricing: Dynapower Fairway Woods: $249.99
    Dynapower Hybrids Highlights:
    ● Dynapower Hybrids showcase a low center of gravity (CG) and variable face
thickness to deliver easy-to-launch ball flight, precise distance and tour-player
preferred, flatter profile for a confident setup.
    ● High MOI head design: Internal weighting positions the CG low and back to
produce a high MOI clubhead for more forgiveness and higher launch angles.
    ● Advance, tour-inspired head shape: Tour player testing resulted in a flatter profile
for a clean setup behind the ball.
    ● Pricing: Dynapower Hybrids: $219.99
The Dynapower clubs are available for pre-sale on Wilson.com starting Wednesday, Feb.
22 and at select retail locations beginning March 1.

Sean D. reacted to EasyPutter in DO YOU JUDGE ANOTHER PLAYER BY WHAT CLUBS ARE IN HIS BAG?
Golf is life and just as in life I don't judge anyone, and before someone jumps on that consider Richard Carlson's words in his book, Don't Sweat The Small Stuff: And It Is All Small Stuff.  It's actually #11: "Imagine that everyone in the world is enlightened, except you.  Instead of asking yourself "why are they saying that" or "why are they doing that" ask yourself "what are they trying to teach me" and "what am I supposed to learn from them."  It is all about not being judgmental and biased, prejudiced and opinionated, letting others be right and honoring their life experiences as things I too can learn from.
I'm watching to see what others do with what they have in their bag, how they handle the clubs, and how they care for their equipment.  Again none of it to judge but to learn from what they are doing.  And let's not forget that some people's existence is to serve as a warning to others - learning what not to do is just as important as what to do and oftentimes MORE important!  Especially on the golf course, DON'T BE THAT GUY!

That's funny as "polished chrome" is a negative for me.  A clubmakers nightmare... trying to cover everyone's preferences, and hoping you nailed the 80/20 rule.

This years summary reads a bit like a "pick your poison or sugar pill" choice.  No one of the top 5 stands out across the various categories; scoring, distance, forgiveness, and accuracy.  Curious why several other make/models weren't included... Srixon and Sub70 in particular?  Nice seeing Wilson still standing toe to toe with the BIG's - looks like their onto something with the power slot/chambers.

At a very brief first glance it looks like shiny chrome is not a great aesthetic (at least it was mentioned among several negative points for clubs) Which is interesting to me as I think it is what I would possibly lean towards. Don't get me wrong I love my hydro finish on the i210, but a nice shiny finish of the Rogue ST Pro's I really gravitate towards.

Went in and got fitted with the local fitter today. Tried out the PXG Gen 4, Calloway Rogue ST pro, Taylormade P770, and Mizuno Pro 225. All with various shafts. Learned that what I have been playing shaft wise the last couple years hasn’t been doing me any favors. I now have a set of Mizuno Pro 225s on the way. So excited for the season, even though it is 2-3 months out for me because of winter.
