SunsetBeachCustomPutters
Well here is our newest design. We milled three prototypes to monkey around with and sell. We are opting to change a few minor points. Face thickness and about everything else is exactly where we want it. We have not named this model yet, but as usual we will be sticking with our Carolina Beach theme. The production models will have the logo in the cavity instead of the sole. Let me know what you think. JohnBarry
I like it, how expanding the Beach theme a little, and name it the "Diamond Shoals" storms brew up there and sink a ton of ships off of Hatteras, neat name for a putter. SunsetBeachCustomPutters
We will offer both variations on the bumpers, here are some comparison pictures. Before anyone says anything Sunset Beach got the go ahead from Byron to use the High Beam hosels. SunsetBeachCustomPutters
Look good..... How about The Wilmington or The Calabash? Calabash was taken by a stainless steel prototype. Thinking Masonboro, Wrightsville, and a couple of others. golfluvzme
The modified model, with the flatter bumpers has been final fitted for the plumbers neck and is welded, heading for a finish, later today. The standard head has been fitted with a carbon steel mid-slant, welded up and is also going for finish, today. Both finishes will be the first time they have been applied to a Sunset Beach putter, so it will be All-New, all the way around. Look for some pictures of the putters, post-weld/pre-finish, before the day is done.
