TSauer
So I have a Cleveland TFI 2135 1.0 that isn't being used. I would love to replace the current shaft with a black one to match the head. However, I'm unsure of what tip diameter size I need. PutterLounge has .355, .370, and Flare Tip. I've looked online to try and find the size I need, but no answers. Can someone school me on this? Kor.A.Door
It looks like the #1 uses a standard putter shaft, the tip goes inside the hosel, it should be a .370 tip from what I can tell in the photos. Lefties are always in their Right Mind

How were you able to find the tip size? Please don't tell me it was an obvious answer and make me look dumb. Haha. TSauer
Would this one work? https://www.golfworks.com/fst-stepless-pro-black-matte-putter-shaft/p/FS0051/ I noticed someone put this in a 2135 8.0, I'm assuming it'd be the same thing. McaseyM
You can do use black shrink wrap to cover the stock shaft. Street11
I have a 2135 8.0 and I had to call and chat with Cleveland to get the tip diameter and yes it is .370. I also put that shaft into my putter and it looks great, although it will change the feel on the firmer side so be prepared for that. You might not need to change the shaft. I think Meyer posted something a while back where he performed a shaft mod with something and changed the shaft to black. It was pretty cool. Next time you're online send him a message. Kor.A.Door
How were you able to find the tip size? Please don't tell me it was an obvious answer and make me look dumb. Haha. It's not obvious, I've just changed shafts and things often. Basically, my thought ws that the shaft goes into the hosel, so you wouldn't need a flare tip since those are used for over hosel shafting, since .355 tip shafts are normally produced for specific irons and lengths, it would like not be used either, putter shafts that go into the hosel will most likely be a .370 shaft. You can use pretty much any .370 shaft, tip trim it to 8 or 9 iron length, and then when you butt trim to length it will Feel similar to a putter shaft. TSauer
Got this projected started. Now I gotta wait for the shaft to come in and purchase some epoxy in the meantime. TSauer
You can just black out the current shaft Sent from my iPhone using MyGolfSpy I don't wanna use the heat shrink, I already order the new shaft. Plus, it's a pain in the arse removing a SuperStroke grip from the shaft. So, I'll probably find a putter head to use that shaft on. cnosil
I have a putter head on the way and I am doing the same as you. Trying to figure out what shaft to putt in the club. probably going black, but also considering TT Frequncy filtered. Big questions I am working through are heavy/light and stepped/stepless. Been reading opinions all over the internet. Prabably avoiding the TT frequency shaft since it says is makes insert putters play too soft. Anyone around here have opinions on putter shaft weight or how steps impact the stroke?
