STUDque
I think there's already a thread on this but I've tooled around with the demo at Dick's. I think it's a pretty decent training aid. I learned my eyes are past the ball so I've worked a little to shift my weight to my heels. cnosil
The real question is what do you want to do with the aid. I used one a long time ago and later learned that I putt best with an open stance and eyes inside the ball. If you want to use it to build an eyes over the ball and square shoulders setup, the it works just fine. I'd like a putter training aid that helps me get the ball in the hole (in the fewest strokes possible) A friend of mine just bought one but haven't used it yet. cnosil
I'd like a putter training aid that helps me get the ball in the hole (in the fewest strokes possible) Putting training aids help you work on specific things. Setup, aim, mechanics, etc. I don't know of one that does it all. The eyeline mirror is fine for what it does. I think since I had the aid, they have added holes for gates which I think is more important than the mirror part. Of course I am assuming you are talking about the mirror since that is probably EyeLine's (company) biggest product. They make all kinds of aids. Headhammer
Yes I use the small Eyeline mirror all the time. I have used it on my indoor mat and on the practice putting green. Just learn from my example and do NOT use it if the practice green has recently been sanded. Scratched the crap out my mirror. Dilligaf
Iv had the eyeliner mirror for a couple months now. Initially I just used it at home to get some putter work done. It wasn't till I started using it before my rounds did I start to see a benefit. 15-20 minutes prior to my round, has really worked wonders. I'm dropping more long range putts, and my success with knee knockers has been fantastic. When I have more time I'll do the gate drill with the dual colored balls. They don't lie, if I'm not putting a pure roll on it it shows.

Rano
I get too far over the ball so I use mirrors to work on that. The Eyeline also has extra lines to make sure your shoulders are square though that is rarely a problem I have. The holes for adding gates with tees are pretty good as well. I always find it quite difficult to just free-hand a gate with only tees. I never manage to get them perpendicular to the target, so the mirror helps with that.
