Kick point

Headed to a fitting position and looking for some knowledge on shaft kick points as Im considering non stock shafts. High ball hitter playing zlites which i believe have a high kick point. I love playing the high ball as i feel that what plays best in my area. If I tried low kick point, wouod I see an even higher trajectory with possible loss of yardage?

Not necessarily. All depends on your swing/transition/release.

Also - beware that the terms "kick point" and "launch" may be used interchangeably by shaft manufacturers.

I think you're headed in the right direction by trying them yourself. The tolerances for stock style shafts are not as tight as some of the premium offerings and you may find that despite some saying low or high Kick, they will perform differently. Throw all that out the window and hit everything you can! Let us know how it goes.

I plan on getting the mot out of the fitting and hit what I can and what my budget allows. Looking to gain knowledge before I go.
