Josh Ross
I have yet to find a pair of spikeless that fit my huge feet, and sadly I'm having trouble finding a pair of spiked that fit me now as it has been seven years since I've bought new shoes. I have yet to wear the spikes. I think I just prefer the comfort of the spikes and the fact that I don't have to change out of them if I want to run some errands afterwards. I follow this same thinking... Spikeless are great for not having to change shoes. However, when the course is wet, the spikes are better for me... I'm way overdue to replace my spikes. Been loving my Pume spikeless I picked up a year ago.
Golfnut80
Footjoy flex spikeless are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. (Including sneakers!) I can wear them 90% of the time, even if it's a little wet on the course. For wetter days I'd recommend the hyperflex (waterproof and have spikes). Stevenhp
I have 2 pairs of sqarzs. They’re a little of both with fewer spikes and more of the nubs.I’m wasn’t sold on the hype that I would hit it longer. But they are comfortable and I seem to be more stable. They say free replacement spikes but you pay for shipping. It’s still cheaper than a full set of replacement spikes.
tjcat219
I use spikes when it is wet but prefer to use spikeless since I walk a majority of the time when I play. I have a set of new balance spikes that I just got that are very comfortable. I use a combo of footjoy and new balance spikeless shoes for walking. chasewietecha
I own both but personally enjoy wearing my spikeless FJ SL Carbons more often. I haven’t found a major difference in traction even on rainy days in Seattle. Quote -Chase
EMacK1961
I have always preferred spikes to non-spikes shoes. Traction for me is the key. I like the support I get. Andy1427
I personally own both ! Spikeless when it's a bit wet and spikes when it's nice out if i didn't necessarily had the budget for both I'd 100% go for spikes and i think the adidas tour 360 are good for that since they have soft spikes! TitleistMike
My background is youth soccer and on firm dry turf, spikeless no cleats had best overall performance. I have two spiked waterproof footjoy. One classic saddle and one hyperflex. I have two spikeless footjoy. Don't think they are waterproof. Nubby bottoms. Work great on simulator mats and dry days. tannergooden5
Spikeless is the way to go! They are much more comfortable Quote Just a dad that plays golf
bellken
I prefer spikeless - lighter and more comfortable for walking, but, my wet season shoes (S2G mid-cuts) have spikes.
10Hockey
Most of my shoes have spikes , however I do own several pairs of G-Fore shoes because the bottoms have excellent gripping power without being a traditional spike. The key with G-Fore shoes is to not wear them out by walking on concrete and paths. Also , owning several pair will keep you from wearing down the same pair. O must just be odd as I do like the none slipping I get with all my other golf shoes. Not talking ground, I'm talking movement inside the shoes. Just played my second round wearing the nike air max 270 golf shoe. Rained the night before and the course was wet ( squashy in some places) never slipped once, I also have w low swing speed 80. Been really impressed with everything about these shoes! Preeway and BKervin 2 Quote Alan Scalzi
