RichL85
@Josh Parker, how is the feel of the JMX Zen Lites? I tried a few of the other models in the past in a few different sizes to try them out, but I can't stand that plastic feel, but it looks like maybe the Zen Lites are a little more like the typical rubber feel? Would that be accurate? I'm used to playing the typical MCCs, but I'm naturally more comfortable with the grips a little more in my hands than my fingers. The larger size felt better to me, but just the actual texture feel of the Ultralites, Tours, and Str8 Tech didn't feel right. If the Zen Lite has more of a rubber feel to it, I might grab a few to try. Worst case I have a supply of MCCs that I can always go back to. It helps prevent getting too quick but also helps in being able to turn the hands over. They claim both on their website. I think it really does boil down to the tension in the hands/arms thru the swing. I'll admit, its hard looking at them being so large, but the results have shown up for me. Shoot, after my run this morning I prepped all my clubs for the grips arriving today. That’s encouraging to hear you can have a lighter grip and hit the ball better, faster just because of trusting the grip…and in such a short time! jbern and William P 2 Quote Driver - Ping G410+ LA golf 65S 3wood - Ping G400 Aldia green 75S 5 wood - Ping G410 Aldia 75S 4-pw Iron - TM M3 steel fiber i110 Ping Glide 3.0 - 50, 54, 58 Nippon 115 Odyssey O-Works 2-ball ProV1x

Chux13
The online fitting tool is awesome and love these grips so far. Have tested the STR8 tech in ultralite and tour, as well as the tapered ultralights. I am leaning more toward the str8 tech, but hesitate on which one to get as I am trying to break away from an early release on my swing. I get a bit wristy and am borderline from flipping the ball. Mike10487
Made it to the range just before they closed. I had time for a small bucket with no warm up. I hit 35 balls and I can not say that I am disappointed. 2 left, 14 straightish, 17 10-15 yard cuts and 2 out right slices. My thoughts after the session, the harder I swung, the straighter the ball seemed to fly. The 2 lefts were swinging out of my shoes snappers that actually stayed on the range. Thanks fellas I’m not familiar with other brands, but note that jumbo size grips are not the same as JumboMax grips. For example, a golf pride tour velvet jumbo grip is still smaller than a JumboMax XS grip. JumboMax touts their core and construction for the performance gains and I doubt off-brands use the same materials. In my opinion, if you want to try the oversized grips, JumboMax is the way to go. Use air and athletic tape for install and keep them as clean as possible, so they last as long as possible. I will have to learn how to install grips but thank you for the advice William P, Medfloat, Rob Person and 3 others 6 Quote I have a cobra rad speed driver, cobra fly z 3 and 5 wood, taylormade m1 irons (5-PW), Top Flite Gamer wedges (52,56,60), and odyssey white ice putter. When just getting a round in with friends or scrambling I play whatever I might find on the course or might find at the bottom of my bag.

Indy_Oz
First time fitting a JMX grip using compressed air. Took some tweaking with air pressure and figuring out the technique, but I like it. Bottom of the grip is rotating a little, but I only used painter's masking tape to give it a try and more easily remove afterwards. Maybe I need another layer of tape and I must have misjudged where the tape needed to end with this grip. Next ones will be easier I'm sure.lol Anyway, XS size JMX STR8 Tour grip installed on my Taylormade MG3TW 56* sand wedge. JMX don't sell these STR8 Tour grips in Small, which might be a better size for me, but I like the small size for my 7W and 3H, so hoping these feel good with irons and wedges. I have Medium on my driver and 3W, so may end up going there for the whole bag, but I'm hoping the XS works. After a few swings in our tiny back yard, I like it. I'll be heading to the range later and chipping green. I have both MG4 Raw and MG3 TW grind 56* wedges, so I'll have a good 'feel' comparison between the two. Swing weight will be something to note- feel of SW anyway. I'll check SW when next at the sim place I go to (I've used it to check SW for the P770 irons). jbern, Josh Parker, ZackS and 2 others 3 2 Quote 2024 WITB: Driver: Ai Smoke Max 9* (@8*) w. I’m not really wanting to shell out the money for $15/club at the moment unless it’s really that beneficial vs other cheaper options in the oversized category. Thanks fellas Good question. Indy_Oz
Ok, I'm pretty much sold. I'll play the JMX gripped 56* on Sunday to confirm how it performs in a round, but based on the range and chipping green session this afternoon I don't see any detriment to using it. Feel was still there around the green and the grip really didn't feel all that big. Full swing shots on the range felt great. Next step will be putting one on a 7/8 iron and seeing how it plays. Sunday will be my first round with the P770s, so I won't be testing out different grips until I have at least 2-3 rounds under my belt with them.
