Been working hard on getting my set super dialled, I currently play off 9 but would like to try and push down to scratch over the next (realistically) year or two. Set as follows: Driver: Ping G430 LST TENSEI CK Pro Orange - 73g - TX 2 Hybrid: Ping G430 TENSEI CK Pro Orange HY - 94g - TX 3 Hybrid: Callaway Apex Pro '21 Ventus Blue HB - 94g - X (tipped 0.5") 4 UT Iron: Callaway Apex Pro '24 Ventus Blue HB - 104g - X 5 - PW: Callaway Apex TCB C-Taper - 130g - X GW: Vokey SM9 C-Taper - 130g - X SW, LW : Vokey SM9 Dynamic Gold - 130g - S300 Putter: AI-One Cruiser Broomstick Ball: Pro-V1x Couple of interesting club notes: - All of my Irons are 0.5" long and 2 deg upright. These irons have been a revelation, so nice out of the middle but surprisingly forgiving if you move a 'little' around the face. Shafts control the spin really well, very one hop and stop (which I prefer). - My 4 iron is my favourite club, I can shape that guy in all directions, go high and go low, its so versatile. - My driver is my biggest strength and biggest weakness. When its on, we're 310+ down the middle, usually playing a baby fade. When we're not, its duck hook city. Currently working on relying on my hands less in the impact zone (ie, not flipping), so hopefully we can tame that miss. - Recent convert to the broomstick. Still figuring it out, I didnt really have a problem with my other putter (Odyssey Eleven 2-Ball Lined, with the black stroke lab shaft), but I wanted to mix it up. If it keeps going well, I might try out a L.A.B broomstick too. - I have never really got on with fairway woods, so I play the 2 hybrid as the next club in my bag. I'm working on making it a more accurate option off the tee, particularly on links style courses and into the wind, because it does have a lovely flat and strong ball flight when hit well, and I can get 165mph ball speed out of it when I need. - I play the C-Taper in my 50 degree because I play mostly above the shoulder shots with it or bump and run type chip shots. The other wedges still have DG's which give me nice spin control, although I would like to test a KBS Hi-Rev at some point maybe. I'm really happy with where I'm at, and I'm keen to keep grinding my game and getting as close to 0.0 as I can. Have a good day everyone!
