I’ve been rocking the ping goofier lite bag and I do really like it. One downside is the lack of storage space and pockets. Has anyone else come across this? Would the standard hoofer be a better option? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I use a 45” shaft and it’s been good for me! Anything longer and I feel I start to lose control of it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi all! I’m from Southern California. I joined MGS to dive deeper into the golf community. I’ve been playing golf casually since I was a kid and recently picked back up as a hobby a few years ago. Currently playing off a 3.2 handicap I don’t really know any MSG member but I’m excited to meet you guys. I’m from Thousand Oaks, CA and current home course is Tierra Rejada golf club There’s some beautiful golf courses in the area but the drawback are high prices and limited options / accessibility. I work as a strength and conditioning coach My username is just based off my name! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

A bit on the pricier side at $25 I recently started using the Callaway tour authentic and I love it. The leather feels super soft and the grip is excellent. Durability during the summer when I sweat more is a bit of an issue though Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’ve gotten fit at club champion for most of my bag and they do a great job! Very thorough fitting process with lots of options and they are super patient and understanding Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Does anybody just hit all the new clubs?
Sinjin Todd replied to RickyFlowers's topic in General Equipment Talk
This is awesome. I absolutely love trying new clubs and comparing all the options on the market. I could hit balls for hours if I had the time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I like the feel off wooden tees but plastics just last longer so I usually default to plastic Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I’d would say stick to practicing with the gamers so you are used to the shafts, swing weight, loft, lie etc Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I love music but I know not everybody else does. When I’m playing with people who aren’t close friends I always ask if it’s okay and turn the volume low. I think if you just bring it up to him, he’ll understand! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Driver shaft length thoughts???
Sinjin Todd replied to buckpillar's topic in Breaking News and Debate
Definitely found that playing a shorter driver can help with quality of contact. I went from 45.75 to 45 and hit it better for sure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Recently tested some drivers including the paradym, Titleist trs2, and ping g430 lst Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

How many different shaft models in your bag?
Sinjin Todd replied to BostonSal's topic in Golf Balls/Shafts/Grips
I love them. I have PX 6.5 in irons and wedges. When I got fit I went from stock 95 gram shafts to these 125 gram shafts, which was definitely much needed. The PX profile definitely fits my swing speed and style. They feel really stable Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I’ve gotten fit at CC for irons, wedges, and putter. I loved every fitting that I have had with them. I’d say the most important thing is don’t be afraid to communicate, ask questions and give all your opinions and feedback on the clubs you end up hitting! Your fitter will guide you but the ultimate decision is up to you! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I 1000% recommend getting fit my a professional fitter. I personally got fit at a club champion and the experience was great. My fitter didn’t push me in any direction and let me and my swing guide the fitting process. I was in a somewhat similar situation. I had some old game improvement irons that I had grown out of and ended up getting fit into players distance iron (callaway rogue st pro). I’d say the thing that made the biggest difference for distance control and dispersion was getting fit into the right shaft. Hope this helps! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I feel like getting those jumpers are definitely a trend in the players distance category. I tested the t200 irons a while back and found them to be pretty consistent and the most “player-like” iron out of the ones I tested Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
