Check for outdoor demo days near you .. the brand reps typically have a decent assortment of shafts for testing.

Check out the Club Glider. Soooo very easy to roll alongside you!
Only minor drawback is the roller arm mechanism does take up some weight out of your 50 lbs (whatever # of kilos).

Did the 8 and 9 have same loft? Or ???

no, I believe my 9 is 38 and my 8 is 34. I could be wrong, I would have to look at my spec sheet unless the spousal unit threw it away by accident. They are set up with a lower loft.

LA few weeks ago I had a driver fitting at Omni Tucson National. All outdoors with a pro. Curious to test some new driver. My current driver is a Taylormade Stealth, I tested the new Taylormade, Calloway and 2 Ping drivers. I hit the Ping G430 Max the best and most consistent. I really did not care for any of the 10K drivers for some reason . I never thought I would even consider the Ping. The pro did say that if I kept my current driver I should switch to a regular shaft . I checked this out and some shafts are more than a new driver

Was it a fitting or a demo?    If it was a fitting did he identify some shafts that you should try in your old driver?   Yes, shafts rename from about $50 to about $800. But that doesn’t mean an $800 shaft is better or will work for you than the $50 one.

While not the Cruiser version, was part of the test for the Ai-ONE and was super impressed with the consistency of the putter.  It has helped my putting tremendously and this thing is not leaving my bag any time soon!
Here is the thread on the test:

Back at the hospital with the mother in law, still no answers from the doctors, but weather is looking better today after the tornados rain and heavy wind after the fact last night.
putting area still too soft to put out the new putting green.
hoping to get out early next week to get some golf in, hoping all the family issue clear up by then.
MyGolfSpy Nation, have a great day and HITTEM Straight!

Not a good night, spent the day at the hospital with the mother in law, still don’t know what is going on with her. Going home we had high winds (again) heavy rain(again) and then they added tornado warnings. What a week so far, practiced some putting in my office to release some stress, supposed to be nice today but won’t get the chance to play probably until next week.
Hope all is well with MGS nation, I think I’m going to have some Kamakazis when I get home tonight.

Just beat the rain to get in 9-holes.  When posting the score I looked at my history and 7 of the 8 scores being used for HI are from 2023.  Today's might make the 2nd one used from 2024.

On the upside, I talked myself out of the one "hero shot" I could have tried today.

Good morning all. A bit of a mixed bag in Baja, California this morning. It appears like our usual "May Gray" has set in early. The marine layer that comes in every morning is usually burned off by the afternoon yielding temps in the 60's. That's when I'm teeing off today. I usually golf at 8am when the temps are in the upper 40's/low 50's so this will be a welcome change. I've got a board meeting of the La Sociedad de Amigos this morning thus necessitating the afternoon tee time. Have a good end of the week out there. If your plans for the weekend include golf, hopefully your weather will be nice and you hit 'em straight and long. Take care spies.
