I’m pro cart speaker and have no issue with music on the course with this caveat: 
I shouldn’t be able to hear your music 3 fairways over.
As long as the volume is reasonable and the language is clean, then live and let live.

It is official the Vice irons are staying in the bag. 
Today was a day like no other. Special shout out to Titleist TSi 1 Driver and the Vice VGI01 irons.
This was just epic. Holy cow couldn't believe it, and I had witnesses. Pictures first.




The above pictures were a sampling of some of the approaches. All putts were converted. The one with the longest roll out was mainly due to slope. But that was my eagle make. So, just in those five photos I'm at six under par.
So here we go!
Career low with a 63. Yes, an amazing 63 on a par 72 course. 31 on the front and 32 on the back. 
A bogey free round
One eagle
Seven birdies
Broke my age I'm 65. I thought I would have to get into my 70's to do it. 
Achieved the course record. Not just my personal best for the course but the actual course record from my tees. 
I still have the jitters. That was the most fun ever. I'll tell you the 18th hole had my heart pumping and my hands shaking hitting over the river onto the island green. But I managed a par to hold it together.

Well lately?  Basically everything in this picture has been added since June 1st 
Well except for the wedges which were in March and the bag itself maybe a month later. 
 
 

Went to local golf store to have a new grip installed on my Flanagan 8802 style putter.  Haven’t been there in maybe 8-10 months but Store Mgr recognized me which felt good.  While waiting for the putter grip I spotted a used LH Scotty Newport 2 Super Select in with the new putters.  I hit a few putts but didn’t like the $250 price although the putter is pretty clean.  Mgr came over and we started talking war stories and past 9 months.  I told him the SC was nice but not $250 nice.  He offered $200 out the door, thought about it for a while.  
I now have a slightly used SC 😁

I love my Honma irons.  They definitely have great feel.   I've even consider getting another set even though I don't need them.  The prices on ebay are pretty good for used sets. 

After getting back into the sport after a 10 year gap, my box clubs were woefully out of date. Got a proper irons fitting to get the numbers and ended up buying a set of Sub 70 699 v2 w/ upgraded MMT 80g graphite shafts. Super excited! They’ll be here this week!

I may have done a thing.... and it may have cost me $200 CAD.... 🫣

Finally got scheduled for my fitting, Tuesday the 27th. I'm back to back with GolfSpy_Ben, so I get a little extra time observing the process.

Practice. That’s it. Sounds simple, and it is, and it isn’t. To get better, lower handicap, gain consistency, etc., one has to put in the hours working on their game. And while working on your game, practice with purpose. If you are hitting balls into a net, and have the benefit of a launch monitor (mevo, rapsodo, garmin, etc.) work on hitting to target yardages to dial in gapping. When rolling putts on a mat, work on line and distance control. Always be working on something. 
also, as others have mentioned, playing as frequently as you can will also help in getting better and it’s fun.
