Ha... strategic....
I putt mine out for this very reason.  Even if they give it to me.  I will take it but I'm still setting the ball down and putting out.

I was just talking about this with a few of the guys I work with. In the league I played in my partner and I had a deal between us. If the other team we were playing against had putts within 3 ft on the first 4 holes, we would give it to them with the exception of if it was to win the hole. Obvious exceptions were if we shot ourselves out of that hole and even if they 2 putted they would still win that hole it was a gimme. The last 5 holes we made them putt everything. Reason being is if they were so used to being given those putts, they all the sudden became stiff with their putts and missed and we would win the hole more times than not. This lead to us winning more matches and get into the playoffs.  

For the first time in my life, my football team has won a playoff game. I don't even know how to feel right now. Just relieved that I get to rest my poop chute for a week. I was in full puckered mode the whole game, especially the 4th quarter.

Survey completed. I game the Ping 430 Max now so I am not sure the new Max would be a game changer. I dont trust TaylorMade's driver head durability. I dont have access to try the PXG unless I travel just to do that so it may or may not happen. I played Cobra irons for years and my son still uses them their new driver is worth my time to try but in the past for me  mishits were punished much more than some other brands even though the shots hit in the screws came out smoking hot I would rather give up a little distance on well hit shots for much better results on mishits [ que in my Ping driver lol ] The Callaway smoke driver intrigues me the most. One hitch in the plan is that when i bought the Ping I was steered towards the TSR1 instead of the 2 or 3 , I was post op on some major hip and leg surgeries so a Titleist redo test on the TSR2 and 3 would happen before buying again. 

I also completed the survey. I am intrigued by  a few of the new drivers. I currently play the Ping G430 Max and it performs well for me. I am really interested in the new G430 Max 10K. Because a few nagging injuries and aging have slowed me down a bit, I  also would like to check out the new Cleveland and XXIO releases.

For the simple fact I like the blue face over the red face, I will swing it at the shop. I didn’t get along with any of the Stealths so it would indeed have to be something special to dislodge the Paradym TD that currently resides there.

Good morning spies! Gonna be a long day - kids schools are canceled bc of “impending” winter weather (it’s right below freezing and was a beautiful 55 & sunny yesterday). That’s Georgia for you I guess 🙄

We will just have do disagree on this.  Tour players play what is best for their game and not because of an OEM label.  For example Callaway say the AI Smoke Max is for high handicap to tour players.

The companies themselves say which head is their “tour” head or preferred “tour” head. Most of the tour players don’t need more spin and is why those low spinning heads are aimed towards them. Hence why I said stated what I did. 

I think we need a true head to head of all the low spinning driver models. Just to see which one is the most forgiving of the “Tour players” head.

I am finding this out. That’s why I’m starting to use a urethane cover ball more. 

Oh no, this is perfectly fine as this is also what is part of the new driver line. I like watching reviews to see which ones I should stick away from since I am a high spin player. But I generally try to hit all of the top brands to see if one would suit me better than the others. 

If we are going on looks, I’ll go with the Callaway. I like to be different and go against the crowd when it comes to golf. But I’ll probably try them all just to see performance of what each brings to the table.

Not gonna lie, I do like the look of that one and the Mezz Max. 

Also valid, best would be going to demo days cause then you wouldn’t need to pay to be fit for them. You can judge it based on your own. 

Not going to lie, Taylormade will replace the clubhead if you happen to smack it hard enough the face comes off. At least they did with the stealth head I had. After that I traded in the new head I got and the old Sim head and switched to callaway since that was was the best driver for me then.
