      Haven't checked out MN Golf Academy yet, but I've been to the simulators at Bunker in Coon Rapids a few times last year and it was really nice. Plus they serve Surly in the bar :)

    It's been the off season for less than a week and I'm already bitten by the Ho bug. New putter project in the works with Spryevo and going to finish it up with a one-off Bestgrips gridiron

      I've only hit the R1 once and the shaft probably wasn't right for me. But the SLDR felt much more stable with a better sound. It really feels like you can go after it and nothing bad will happen

    Off Season Day 5: Can't believe it's been 5 days since I swung a club. Starting to get the golf shakes...Only 4 more months to go

      Definitely go visit 2nd Swing in Minnetonka... I went there for the first time this weekend and I felt like I walked into heaven. They have more clubs than you can shake a stick at. It'll cure even moderate to severe golf itch... Orrrrrr make it worse. There's only one way to find out.

      I've been to 2nd Swing many times, great place to hit stuff. I'm also going to try and hit up Bunker Hills in Coon Rapids. They have simulators for indoor golf.

    Played 18 today and it's 36° out. Didn't shoot very well but I'm not ready to give up on the golf season yet!!

    Played yesterday and it was 76 degrees w/ 5mph winds, today playing in 50 degrees w/ 15-20mph winds. Sometimes I hate MN

      If you get that weather in Jan you will be out there in short sleeves. Me too. We aren't that cold in Detroit but is sure is wet. Just think if we could play year round, we'd be tours pros. Right?

      Storm petered out before it got here. We only got 7" or so. Unfortunately, the long term forecast doesn't even show the temperature reaching "average" in the next 2 weeks.
