  1. That was awesome of you @CarlH, thank you for making the day for those boys.
  2. As previously mentioned, getting fitted is the best route for you. The woman clubs generally have higher lofts than mans and could have different color schemes depending on the manufacturers, who have the ladies lines. The main thing here is the shaft flex and weight, My self for example, I just found out, by getting fitted that although I am playing the right flex, my iron shafts are a little bit too light for my swing mechanics, causing issues with my ball dispersion. So go get fitted if you can, do not worry about if the clubs are marketed Male/Female, find what feels good to you and can help you improve your game, after all in golf your first challenge is for you to beat yourself every time.
  3. Yep, that is enough advance notice, I will put it in the calendar, there should be no reason for me not to attend it in September.
  4. I probably should check on my clubs, they have been in the trunk of the car for the past two weeks, it has been over 90 everyday for the past 9 days here in Michigan
  5. That sucks, luckily you didn't hit your self or anyone else.
  6. With advance notice, I am game to cross the border.
  7. Not moving but maybe playing a few rounds in, Copper Creek Golf Club, USA the highest course in the US, just over 3000 meters above sea level.
  8. Been there and done that. I was dead last in the city tournament two years in a row 2011 and 2012 I was in Maryland over the weekend, I think you guys were facing 100+ degrees heat index this weekend in VA too. Hangover and dehydrated in that kind of heat is very dangerous. I hope you are feeling better today.
  9. Tough day. it is too funny that you cannot make it up. I hope that your next round is a lot better with the right set of eye-wear. I would love that all my game needed was the correct set of glasses.
  10. The old saying goes "They are worth what someone is willing to pay" With that said, those are really good looking Scotties, I cannot even begin to give you a ball park on what they are worth. The 25 stamped in the bottom, could mean a low run of a specific variant, but I cannot find the specific one, I know you are trying to sell and not invest more on them, but those two might be something you want to contact Scotty Cameron to check on their lineage and if possible value, they might ask you to send them for an analysis which it cos you some
  11. Agreed with calling the Pro shop, also I would probably have talked to the group behind and explain what was going on, at times you do not see that the group ahead of you is also being held up, It sucks to me seeing people held up in the tee behind, as much as it sucks to be stuck behind someone else. I did shoot my drive by someone's cart a couple weeks back, to be fair, they took forever for them to hit their balls from the fairway, the 4 people ahead of us had driven in the woods and had to pitch it to the fairway, and I thought I was in the clear, but one of them decided to drive back and take drop where they had been shooting their 3rd and lost it again to the woods in the left. It was a blind corner from the tee box. Needless to say they picked up my ball. It was a brand new ProV1X. My playing partner and I explained to the guy behind that we were also held up by the group in front of us, so we waited for him and joined up for the rest of round.
  12. Have fun on the tournament, don't forget to share with us how it went.
  13. On the end of the day, all it matters is that you are having fun. just enjoy the game.
  14. I have never played a tourney like that before, but I do love your logic with the par 5s, you want to have the shortest club possible for your second shot, specially if it makes it easier to get into the green in two, most courses have 4 par 5s and 4 par 3s, so I would strategize to use those 6 reds in the longest overall holes, the 4 par 5s and maybe the two longest par 4s. I don't know that are the lengths of the par 3, if they are not overwhelming and the yardage from the blues, I would keep those as blues and utilize the whites for most of the 4s. Do you by any chance get the yardages from each tee color in each hole in advance so you can plan?

  16. So it someone who did not qualify to be a volunteer and decided to spoil for everyone else, I am sorry that someone is that petty.
  17. The keywords here are "isn’t an overnight fix". With whichever coach and methodology you decide to go, you need to have a lot of dedication to follow the process from beginning to end, a lot of us would love to have the one lesson fix, but it is not plausible, you see pros who change their coaches have also a long road to achieve their goals, specially if the goal is to built an overall better game. If you have found that GG's swing process is improving your game, stick with it, and learn how to turn those misses into advantages. Best of luck in the road ahead.
  18. Not me, but I am checking my mailbox just in case
  19. I either have more than a few bogeys, or have a couple of doubles or triples, so I have gone 18 with no bogeys but doubles and triples galore.
  20. Read it out loud and the wife yelled at me to stop buying golf things, even if they are cheap. So we got to negociante incognito.
  21. I cant wait to join the next season
  22. Thank you for the information, I'm going to check out their Android version.
  23. Congrats man, I checked out and subscribed to your channel, I am super happy with how your journey is coming along. Question, what are you using as far as the shot tracer goes on your videos?
  24. It was a fantastic day for Par 3s, I don't get to play so many in a round, but I got to say I really enjoyed it, I tried different approaches to my tee shots, from using tees to just putting the ball in the ground, as well as different clubs with different lengths in the back swings, just to get some practice in different scenarios. 66 on a par 61 was awesome, congrats.
