  1. I have moved on, ditched the wristlock. Did not work , this needed more refinement. Its unfortunate, cause I like the idea, or at least the idea in theory.
  2. See many good looking clubs in this category, offering players decent choices. The issue I see, is club availability. Expect some wait time for custom orders.
  3. Never understood why anyone cares what equipment anyone chooses to play. Blades are no harder to play than anything else at a pro level, hence they are practicing, and playing alot. You will get competent with this game and equipment when your swinging day in, day out.
  4. I have had the EXS Pro in play for most of last season, its been a great club. Not certain why anyone would have issues with slices and hooks since it has plenty of adjustability for ball flight. Found this driver goes very straight. Excellent distance , great size at 450 cc's , solid performer , great price. All in all, good value for the money. One of my better buys for equipment
  5. The choice is completely yours, I use the ER2 and the ER5B in two separate bags in two different states. I can tell you that I am completely satisfied with both putters, both perform well for me. Putters are such a personal choice that you can only choose for yourself. Take your time, try them all. You should never make a choice hastily.
  6. The MP32's were ok, I personally preferred the MP29's , followed by the 33's, 37's, 67's , 68's, 4's and the MP5'S. All were great clubs,
  7. I use the evnroll ER2 and the ER5B putters. These work ,period. YMMV, play what works.
  8. I am more of a sweeper or picker, but sometimes when I move the ball back in my stance for wind or chipping, my swing can get a little steep, but the 785's with the v sole works very well. I look at the v sole design as an insurance policy.
  9. Attended on Sunday in 2005. Was everything that I expected. Fantastic venue, was a wet week, and you could still smell the fertilizer, lol's. Food and beverages were a bargain. Very well run tournament, and yes you are their patron and guest. It is what all venues should aspire to be.
  10. I think Tom's point on drivers is spot on, and he has data on his side. That said, Tom would be the first to tell you that you have choices, but all in all, the data tells the story.
  11. I have an ER 5, and scoop the ball up all the time on the practice greens, so just some practice should assist you.
  12. Finished the 2020 season with the Tour Edge Exotics EXS Pro 3 and 5 woods. Very satisfied, I do not upgrade fairways often, and for good reason. It is a tough pair of clubs to search for. Been a fan of Tour Edge Exotics clubs for sometime now. And these check all the boxes. GOOD LUCK in your search.
  13. What equipment you play matters little to me, until there is money on the line, Highly doubt anyone here is going into their wallet to settle a bet with a player who says he is using nonconforming equipment. Naturally, all bets are off anytime during the round if your caught, for all you non disclosure types. Lol's
  14. Play what you want. Although 20 cc's smaller is only a slight difference from a 460 cc driver. Your best bet, get a few lessons, and a good fitting. Have some fun with it, you will get better and hit some fairways off the tee.
  15. This shaft will be in my bag this year, To much good info and results from everything that I have encountered. Have to be fit, but will Have one.
  16. Playing the Srixon 785's, really a very solid set of irons.
  17. Keep two sets, the 785's in the north and the X Forged 18's in the south, will not send clubs through the airport when traveling.
  18. Enjoying the Apex Hybrid, still getting used to it, decent club, seems a little left side bias , but working on that. great sound
  19. I play the Callaway Apex when I am south in the winter, really a very nice mb. Great control and flighting the ball is a breeze. Great sticks
  20. All the equipment in my bags, are from companies who have a worldwide presence, and have amercan headquarters.
  21. Just put the CBX 119 3 and 5 wood in the bag, Moved my other TEE 3 wood to the florida bag The playability of these fairway woods is excellent. Checks all the boxes.
  22. I like knowing how they are going to perform. I have played blades for 40 plus years. Why change now ?
