  1. Would you post the emails from you and Callaway? I've had nothing but great correspondence with them. I had a shaft snap early this season. Send in photos and they send me a new one and a box for the old one.
  2. Dang with I saw that post.
  3. Canada is prob behind, like always. Were still sitting at 1400-1700 dollars a set. Fingers crossed i scoop a great deal before Xmas.
  4. Straight Don Julio Tequila from a plastic nesquik bottle because I didn't want to put the glass bottle in my golf bag.
  5. I use my PW around 100-115, 52deg 75 yards and in, 56deg mostly green side bunkers and my 60deg if I have something in front of me I need to flop over. I prob use my 52 the most. I have the confidence in it and it usually never lets me down. I think confidence in your club makes a huge difference. When I grab my 60 I always almost come up short and then its in my head before I even start my backswing.
  6. Looking for a set of 919 forged in good condition standard length and loft. Prefer 4-PW but would consider 3-PW Thanks
  7. New or used? What retailers have dropped the price? I've been looking online and the prices mediocre.
  8. I'm looking at getting the JPX 919 Forged this fall (hoping for a sale) when the new mizuno line comes out. Anyone on the forum selling a 4-pw set in decent condition please message me.
  9. Why? what were the tings that bothered you about the system? What were the pros and cons?
  10. I have no fricking idea this year. I'm following this thread to hopefully steal some good ideas.
  11. 3 dots with a stem, looks like a clover beside the number
  12. Comox B.C. we have 7 courses in the valley, ranging from 18 dollars to 75 dollars. If you include a cart add another 20-30 dollars on top of that. The courses in the 30-40 dollar range are very good in this area and the expensive ones are unbelievable. What does it cost you guys for memberships. I paid 1600 for my yearly April to April membership which includes 6am to 6pm preferred tee times and unlimited range balls.
  13. Had this deer right behind the tee box last night. Watched me rip one right out of bounds on to an active runway. It looks like the deer watched the ball and giggled.
  14. It's always nice to see people poat remembrance posts. I've been in the military a long time so some times I lose sight of paying proper respects. Thanks for the post.
  15. Forgot about that. Super nervous having strangers watch you play through. I usually just pound one and walk fast
  16. Reading greens is like guessing someones age, its very difficult. I find the more I play the better I get. Its a lot easier when on my home course I know how the greens play. When I play courses I don't often play I struggle like the rest of us, especially if there is shade from a tree on the green. When i'm playing with friends I try to get them to putt first to see the break. If i'm away I'll usually ask someone how they see the break. "The more we play the luckier we seem to get"
  17. I've never had new clubs, but I've had "like new" clubs. I would buy used from an online shop if you know what fits you? If you con't know what you hit best go to a shop and hit as many different brands they have.
  18. 7 iron bump and run, try and hit 1 foot back from the fringe and she'll roll right up.
  19. My usually 4some couldn't play this week so I booked the regular tee time on Saturday and invited some friends who don't get out very often. It's was an absolute blast. We played best ball just to keep pace, everyone had fun. We started in the pouring rain and by the back 9 it was sunny and gorgeous. We ended up shooting a 79 overall. I almost hole out on a short downhill par 3 with a very tough pin location.(zoom in on the pin) And we got to see this little guy on the 15th hole.
  20. It's all wind depending for me. If it's wind in my face I try to tee low and rip it low. Wind with me I try to launch high and carry with the wind. No winds I try to launch driver high and let it fly. With wedges I try to play the flag and green slope. Depending on where the pin location is I'll either bump and run low or flop it high and hope she sticks.
  21. At work (metal shop) it's usually metal or rap. At home it's usually country and when I'm on the course I put together what I call a happy playlist. It's songs that make me happy no matter what. I find when I'm in a good mental space and listening to fun music I play better. If I'm playing with other people I love the sounds of the birds and the wind with the occasional fbombs on the course followed by the deep thud of a ball hitting a tree brings a smile to my face.
