Kor.A.Door
I've been playing these for the last few weeks, it's pretty good, i have been playing the chrome soft for most of the season, and it performs very well. If you want soft feel, you should try it. I really like the "Truvis" (soccer ball) pattern, but there will always be haters. Especially for something new in golf, and especially from a company not named titleist. Lefties are always in their Right Mind
Kor.A.Door
Are they a low compression ball? How did it perform? The ball that they used for it is the new Chrome soft, it's the same ball just a different pattern on it. I really like them, they perform very well, at least they do for me anyway. I hope cally doesn't scrap this after a year. apprenti23
Anybody tried these yet? Interested in seeing how long the red stays on there for- not that it matters, just interested. I'd hit it into a pond before i wear it off anyway!
Kor.A.Door
Apprenti, Here is the ball, I've used this one for 2 rounds, 78 first round, 90 the second round. The red color has it faded, I really like this ball, and hope that they continue to make them, Lefties are always in their Right Mind
gaussman1
Anybody tried these yet? Interested in seeing how long the red stays on there for- not that it matters, just interested. I'd hit it into a pond before i wear it off anyway! I played them in our club championship a couple weeks ago. I had been playing Chrome Soft anyway and thought these might annoy everyone else so that was good fun. Conditions were firm and fast. My impression of the ball was that it seemed to spin a little less than I was used to with Chrome Soft but that makes no sense. I'm guessing the course was just firmer than normal. You can definitely see the ball trying to spin in the short game. Putting with them is fun but I can't say whether it was any better or worse than normal. I do not think they would be a good fit for someone who uses the line on the ball to putt with so much going on visually. My big complaint is that the ball looks old and dirty sitting on the ground. It is sort of hard to see until you get right up on it and it doesn't pop from the fairway the way a bright white does. It is also much harder to find off the fairway than normal. Maybe in the fall when everything greens back up it will be more visible, but for now the way it looks in play is a definite con. No way you would want more than one of these in a group since numbers and markings are very tough to distinguish. Maybe if they made the colors brighter and rolled out a bunch of variations they could have something for the consumer. I shot 73,75, 80 in very tough conditions so the ball was fine (final round fade blamed on the player) but I wasn't real interested in buying more of them. All in all kind of a fun little gimmick but nothing here to fall in love with.
