silver & black
A question for the gear gurus on here: Is it possible to make a toe hang putter face balanced.... or close to? If it's possible, can I do it myself? I have a Rife Aussie that I really like, but I think my putting stroke dictates a more face balanced putter. hckymeyer
I'm no guru and I'm not sure if it's possible for you to do it yourself (not sure of your skill set). You could try to see if some sort of double bend shaft could be installed that would change the balance point. That would be the easiest way to attempt it. I have no idea if that would play havoc with your loft/lie angles though. Another thought is putting another bend or two into the neck to shove it out more over the center of the face. Again this would be hard to get the lie angle back into place and could easily screw with the loft. I'm sure there are many companies out there that could do it for you though. Either with those bends or by cutting off the neck and welding a new one on. Driver: SLDR w/ Fujikura Ventus Black 3w: '16 M2 hl w/ Diamana D+ 82 5w: Launcher HB w/ HZRDUS Yellow Hybrid: 22 deg. BIG STU
If you are wanting to keep it the same weight I would do as hcky suggested. Now if you want it a little heavier and do not mind the look you can change the balance with lead tape. There are several companies that specialize in just that.
