Rare? Ping Pal 2

I buy a lot of putters for resale and have had dozens of Ping Pal 2s but never one like this. It doesn't show pat.pend or a patent number. It says patented and the patented is raised not engraved like most Pings. It also has an Anser style slot in the sole of the club. Is this club rare? Or have I just not seen enough Pal 2
