golfluvzme
I have been swamped with refinishes, new stuff for Sunset Beach and then decided to make a few more hand milled heads, just to make sure I could not come up for air, LOL! Here is a few shots of the four that are in the shop, right now. I tried to create four looks that have similar features, but lend themselves to different final looks, depending on the hosel choice. The Grande is a beast for a long putter, probably a smaller neck. The second one in the weight category has some cool lines, while also leaning towards being a belly putter. I have set the lightest one up as a double bend shaft variety, like the original "Montana" putter. That leaves the one that is second from being lightest, for a few ideas from any and all. Check 'em out and let me know what think. Thanks, LaMont in AZ
RookieBlue7
Umm, shaft straight into the head, almost center shafted.... Course the topline looks too thin. You ever check if that'd work on that Montana from a month or so ago? golfluvzme
I believe that a Montana could be made to take a shaft, straight into the topline. I don't have the first one, in-house, though. It is in Atlanta making the rounds and getting some rave reviews with the zero'd hosel. Getting a lot of center-shafted input and will definitely be doing either one of these that way or a newly milled piece. Not resting, not at all. Work to be done and you'll see it on the net. golfluvzme
Rookie, Get ahold of Chris Jordan, through SSB site or FaceBook and he will do what he can to get you some time with it, if possible. I would love to get your thoughts on that bad rascal. Never realized you were that close or I'd have suggested that, sooner.
