ParFore74x
Or when a group in front of you let's you play through!Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile appI’ve had it go both ways. The poor shots are definitely embarrassing but the moments when I just send it make me feel pretty good and I feel that I play a little better for the rest of the round. Just imagine how cool it would be to pull off the always elusive Ace when a group lets you play through on a par 3. tchat07
Interestingly I play better when someone is watching because I'm more conscious of my technique - everything from grip to alignment, etc, etc. On wife on the other hand hates it, however, with her I think it's more of a confidence issue. I sometimes am but my big mistake is when my grip pressure gets to tight so i often become concerned there. Had it happen the other day though where I rolled up on a group of 5 (our course is only allowing walking so they dont mind large groups). They let me through and I crushed a shot up the left side of the fairway. Definitely a great feeling when you get the murmurs of "hey great shot" afterwards haha.Sent from my SM-G950U using MyGolfSpy mobile app ParFore74x 1 Quote Link to comment
Micah T
Personally I've come to accept a bad tee shot as what it is: a single bad shot. I feel freed up after it and can get on with my round. What's your "bad shot dujour"? For me its a two-way miss with driver: although it doesn't happen as much since I went back to hitting a cut. Have you thought about clubbing down til you can't miss? If its in play, I'm happy. And I love courses that start with a par 5 for that reason: one bad shot doesn't kill you.
