jd1993
Currently in AZ (Tucson) helping a relative out from post surgery. Since I’m from Chicago and don’t have a car my golf opportunities are limited. In a good year I’d play 10 rounds realistically but even that is tough to do at the moment. My relative lives on an executive course and that’s been fun. Decided to play a longer course (aka par 5’s) nearby. Arizona National. Pretty cool course but the dessert is cruel when I’m hitting driver erratically. A lot of forced carries that made it tough. Anyhow I knew my glove was in rougher shape. It had a tear in the palm (I’m lefty so right handed glove). Especially the sweat and heat, my old glove was a wreck. Once I bought a new one at the pro shop (Footjoy), it felt so much more grippy and different. Definitely will replace at the first sight of breaking but my new one is genuine leather so should last longer.
StrawberryShortCake
Thats crazy, I change my glove almost every 5-10 rounds if not more. They don't cost that much and have a huge impact on my game. You shredded that thing good job. GaDawg
I think you got your money's worth out of that glove. I usually change before they get to that point! Tap In
Usually you can tell someone’s swing faults by looking at their glove.... Your old one has seen all of them. jd1993
Yeah I think I’ll keep track on my phone the number of rounds or buy a backup to replace it for when it gets worn out. Not sure if I grip tight or what but definitely won’t let it get that bad again! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
heavygolffeels
Having lived in Oregon for 12+ years I got used to not wearing a glove. But I am in Phoenix now and the glove has returned. Looks like you got your money out of the first one. Good reason to get the same one the second time around! russtopherb
I play maybe 20 rounds a year and I go through at least 2-3 gloves every season. That thing was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay past needing to be replaced! Tom the Golf Nut
Oh my!!!!!! I don't think I ever saw a glove that bad that was left on the parking lot pavement and was run over many times. jd1993
Thanks all, I'm currently playing in Arizona right now (Tucson) so I'm sure the heat had a large part to due with the wear on it too. I'll definitely be buying a glove once this one rips.
