Weight and Hosel Position on Hybrid l

Recommended Posts

Hi guys. I have the sub70 939x hybrid and really

Like it. At times though I do not get the higher ball flight that I am looking for. I was wondering what would be the best hosel position and weight positioning to help me achieve a higher ball

Flight?

So I don't have this brand but have hybrids (multiple brands) and models with dual weight ports, adjustable hosel settings.

Most of the time for me, when desiring higher ball flight/launch,  I like the heavier weight (multi-port designed club head) to be farther back and/or low in club head.

Second, IF I have to, I close the face angle through the hosel settings -- but I don't like that option since I am prone to hook my hybrids. A closed face angle can add loft a club head. But I am not comfortable with a overly closed looking face while club is in setup position.

So that is two options I know of regarding the design of many hybrids. Maybe you could reach out to Sub70 and consult with them for additional information... Good luck.
