Golfspy_CG2
So 3 MPH gain in ball speed, and 11 yards of carry increase. This is a PGA Pro who was playing about as custom fit driver as you can ask for previousy and he saw those gains. So much for the crowd that if you are playing a current model driver that is custom fit, you can't find any more speed or distance with a new driver. I'd say Scheffler has several million reasons to say that's not true..ha Rickp, NM01, russtopherb and 2 others 5 Quote G430 Max 10K TSiR1 15.0 Aldlia Ascent 60g TSR2 18.0 PX Aldila Ascent 6og TSi1 20 Aldila Ascent Shafts R T350 5-GW SteelFiber I80 SM10 48F/54M and58K S159 48S/52S/56W/60B Select 5.5 Flowback 35" ProV1 Play number

The differences get bigger, I think, because people are different. The feel of the club, the sound, even the look can not only give different golfers different subjective opinions, but can subtly change how different golfers deliver the club. Could the look of a club give a player confidence to swing just a touch faster? I don't think that's an outlandish idea. Is that club "performing" better than another club? Well, for that guy it is, even if the two clubs are (from the perspective of the USGA) essentially the same. bens197, GolfSpy_APH and fixyurdivot 3 Quote TS3 9.5°, Tensei Blue CBX E722 16.5°, Tensei AV RAW Blue 65 S Epic Super Hybrid 19°, Aerotech Steel Fiber FC HYB S C722 22°, Ventus Blue 8S CBX Iron-Wood 25°, Project X HZRDUS Black 6.0 Epic Forged 7 27° 639 CB, Aldila NV 95 Graphite, 7–PW Diamond Tour Inazone 3.0 50°, 54°, 58°, Aldila NV 95 Graphite DF3, Counterbalanced 37", TPT shaft, Garsen Quad Tour 17" Full WITB with pictures

For any club in that matter. Happy to see this for Scottie. My fantasy team has been even happier having him lead the way. I haven’t watched the TM fitting videos they put out a few weeks back but several of their pros were making gains too. 1 minute ago, GolfSpy MPR said: Broadly, I suspect that in robot testing, a lot of clubs are very similar. Weight change, the balance of the club can affect how one delivers a club which will impact results good or bad. It’s one of the reasons you see some golfers have success with shaft x then when they put it in a different head or new version of the one they are using it doesn’t always work. The way a club looks does affect how a golfer swings and this affecting performance. This was something my titleist fitter wanted to test after my 917 fitting. Once we had everything dialed in he asked if I was up to hitting some more shots as he wanted to test some settings and see the results and I was the last appointment for the day. He adjust lie and loft a couple times and based on how the club sat I manipulated my swing from the swing I was using and the results from the setup were bad. bens197
G400 LST worked well for him. Even though they fall under a large rubber company their golf budget for tour isn’t that high. The money or like have cost them probably isn’t worth the benefit in the long run. They would rather pay more people ball and glove deals than large sums of money for drivers and irons. Not to mention they just signed Koepka. Hes been a free agent since turning pro and has been using TaylorMade for a little while. From his standpoint it makes sense to stay with what is working and not have to try new gear and get it all figured out while playing the meat of the pga season fixyurdivot
