Mathcounts Scramble

Recommended Posts

Using the term competition lightly here. Will be playing in a Scramble next Wednesday that supports Mathcounts, a middle school math competition.

Playing The Wilds in Prior Lake, MN with three childhood buddies. Nice to stay connected even in our 40s.

Defending our title this year! If they make it in time, planning to game the MacGregor MT86 OS irons!

Played a round yesterday with 2 of my 3 teammates for Wednesday. Fairly encouraging, I think we'll be able to ham and egg our way around.

Last year we won this one at something silly like -11. It was really windy, but still, the bar was relatively low.

Hoping to come in closer to -16 or so this time thru.

It's Scramble Eve and I have a decision to make. Play the MacGregor irons that just showed up today after a quick range session tomorrow or stick with the Callaway Apex CF16s I've been gaming for 6 years?

My initial thought is game the MacGregors, I'm there to bomb it and hit wedges. Everyone else can figure out the short iron approaches!

Sounds like a great event! As someone who loves both golf and math, it's nice to see these interests intersect. Speaking of math, I recently found this website read here, which has been a lifesaver for math homework help. It's perfect for anyone needing a bit of extra support in mathematics, whether for middle school competitions or more advanced studies.

Participating in a Scramble to support Mathcounts sounds like a fantastic and fun way to contribute to a great cause. It's wonderful that you can enjoy this event while staying connected with your childhood friends, especially at such a beautiful course like The Wilds in Prior Lake, MN. Best of luck in defending your title this year, and I hope the MacGregor MT86 OS irons arrive in time for the game. Enjoy the tournament and the camaraderie with your buddies!

Good luck!
