True Temper Multi-Step Lite

Any feedback on the True Temper Multi-Step lite..... I have seen so many mixed reviews.   As a budget shaft are these decent to put in a set of irons?

Not sure I have seen these. At least I do not recognize the name. 

Have me curious tho so I'll do a little digging!

I had a custom golf shop for over 30 years and I used these shafts for beginners and higher handicap players with not a huge amount of swing speed or experience.. They seemed to be a pretty good shaft for those golfers. I never had a complaint and I had a golfer come in after a couple years of using custom clubs that I built for him who wanted some new clubs but insisted that I use those same shafts as I had used in the first set I sold him. They had helped him hit the ball higher than before and he loved them.

The new version is quite different from the previous model. So far I have only seen it listed at Golfworks and it is 99-98g weight and much lower launching than the original. I have it in a Maltby DBM 5 iron and it produces a lower flight with excellent spin numbers. I usually play DG105 S300 and it fits well with that shaft.
