CalkoJ
I have been in desperate need of a new 56 degree wedge for some time now and I noticed the deal this club was on and I wanted to see what everyone meant by the saying “nothing feels quite like a mizuno” I have hit other wedges and the feeling of this club is like no other in my opinion. The color and look of the club is unique and fun as well. This club gives me a different confidence behind it like none before it. Since adding this to my bag I feel more confident I many more shots around the green and even further out. I I have more confidence is the different types of shots I can hit and I actually seem to keep them on the green more. I plan on adding a 52 degree before the end of the season and I would recommend this to anyone struggling with confidence and feel around the green. cksurfdude, TJ Hall and Preeway 3 Quote Aim small miss big! CalkoJ
I was playing an older 56 from a set, it was a hand me down. I have hit Callaway raw, volkey’s those feel great ( volkey was better IMO) but idk the the feeling of this club was great and was cheaper than a volkey. I’ll send a pic of the club here soon. It is currently down pouring. I went golf galaxy link below. https://www.golfgalaxy.com/p/mizuno-s23-wedge-23mizms23cpprcbltwdg/23mizms23cpprcbltwdg I don’t produce a lot of spin so I can’t really speak on how much spin the club get but I can just speak on how smooth and soft it feels when hitting with it. TacoTime
What type of grind did you end up with? I have the 50 degree gap wedge in the S grind and looking to get a SW and LW in the S23 too. It felt way better than the vokeys I tried. I like the copper color too and how it sits at address. I can't quite figure out if it is a higher handicap club or if it is just a different type of wedge. CalkoJ
So I got the D grind, I am also not sure if this is specifically for high handicap golfers or if it’s just because it’s a mizuno. Quote Aim small miss big!
